Our guide Mr Ibrahim was the most courteous and friendly guide. Very knowledgeable during the tour explain all the history and future of Amsterdam! Trustworthy indeed!
This excursion was everything we had hoped for. Ibrahim was over the top professional, gave us more than we paid for and did it with style and fun. We took this excursion because we had one day and we are so glad we did. Ibrahim took us to sample what Holland had to offer. We enjoyed the shoe factory, the cheese factory and seeing the windmills and the lovely houses. We recommend this excursion company and especially ask for Ibrahim. Knowledgeable and fun all in one person.
Ibrahim was our assigned tour guide for the trip. He was very helpful and knowlegeable and also very considerate to our needs. He was always thinking a step or two ahead and hence we managed to avoid the big crowds that came after us to the attractions. Oh yes, he was a very good photographer too, capturing every happy moment of us.
Our guide was super friendly and funny He made this trip worth it;otherwise it would have been a boring experience He was the reason for this trip being rated 5 stars
Dont remember his name but I was in the Monday tour
We have a lovely day trip to these two villages. Our guide Ibrahim ( I think that was his name) was very informative and was very knowledgeable during this trip. A visit to the cloggs and cheese factory was very very nice. Worth visiting
This tour was very small. That means we got personal attention from the tour guide. It almost felt like we were on the private tour. The tour itself was really informative. Yair, our tour guide, took good care of us. We had plenty of time to visit each place. Highly recommend it.
My wife and I loved the visit to the windmills... We had the chance of seeing how the wood shoes are made... The cheese experience was great as well... Giethoorn was a good experience, eventhough, I suggest to visit in warm weather...
First of all I want to thank my guide, he really exceeded my expectations with his knowledge and people skills. Very kind all the times, he made the experience even better than it is itself. Giethoorn is a paradise, for real you have to take a moment to process the place, it is magic in a place.
Really nice experience with adequate time and explanation at each stop. Very friendly and nice Guide and also owner. Thank you!
Our tour guid (Sayeed) was amazing -- authentically friendly and eager to give everyone a great trip. He picked us up in a minivan that held all eight of our tour group. We visited Zaanse Schans first and were the first tour group to arrive. This is important to note as the place filled up within an hour of us arriving (many tour buses). Great access to the windmills and plenty of time to explore. We then drive 1+ hours to Giethoorn where we boarded a covered boat and toured the canal. Also, plenty of time to grab lunch afterward and walk around the town. On our way back to Amsterdam we took a quick detour to stop at an apple orchard to buy a few freshly picked apples!
This tour is a must for anyone who wants to visit the two of the most popular places in Holland! Board an air-conditioned mini bus. In 20 minutes you will arrive at the Zaanse Schans, an open air museum absolutely worthwhile your visit. See a typical Dutch clog shop and visit a cheese factory. See the various original still working windmills and the Dutch artisans. You can glance over their shoulders while they are performing their crafts. Learn about the impressive windmill history that set off the Golden Age in the Netherlands. Next enjoy the ride through the Dutch polders, reclaimed land, to the fairytale like village of Giethoorn, also known as “the Venice of the North. Next up, a one hour guided boat tour. You will be in awe of the sights of the surroundings, ducking under picturesque bridges the captain will tell you the impressive history of the Giethoorn. You will have time explore the village on your own, on foot or by bike, if you fancy. You can also enjoy a delicious meal!
