After hotel pickup in either the morning or afternoon, depending on the option selected when booking, meet your guide for a quick safety briefing, and then take off in a caravan of 4-wheel-drive vehicles. You can either settle in behind the wheel or hop in the passenger seat of your 4-person 4x4, outfitted with extra comfortable seats to cushion you from Aruba’s bumpy terrain.
Your destination is Aruba’s famous Natural Pool, but stop along the way at other natural and historical sites like the Gold Mill Ruins, where remnants of the island’s gold-prospecting days still stand. You’ll also visit the ruins of the Natural Bridge, a naturally formed limestone bridge on Aruba’s northeast coast that collapsed in 2005.
Finally, reach Arikok National Park, a protected piece of land that takes up nearly 20 percent of the island. Enjoy the fun, rugged, off-road ride through the park to the Natural Pool — known locally as conchi — a swimming spot formed by volcanic rock that sits right on the coast. Inaccessible by normal car, the Natural Pool allows you to feel like you’ve ‘discovered’ a piece of the island that many visitors don’t make the effort to visit.
Don your provided snorkeling gear and jump in the water to check out the colorful fish and coral. You can also cool off with provided drinks during your hour of free time here. After leaving the Natural Pool and returning to your starting point aboard your 4x4, enjoy a hot lunch. After your meal, you'll be transported back to your hotel. For afternoon tours, lunch will be provided at the beginning of the tour.

DYRON AND JONATHAN are amazing tour guides .It was an unbelievable experience to see the natural pool and the state park .you have one amazing country .Thank you for a great time .
This is worth doing at least once. It’s wicked rough and dusty, and the natural pool was slippery when wet, had rough, deep water, but overall was an adventuresome way to see a different part of the island. Eduardo, our guide, was a great driver and very nice. He made sure we all had a good time, albeit a dusty time. I went back to the hotel and showered BEFORE going to the pool!
If you are looking for a casual, light fare, experience, this is not for you.
Iconic Land Rover Defenders are used. One Tough Suv! But The guides are great. Be prepared to traverse some rough terrain. My second time with ABC. ALWAYS PROESSIONAL!
Everything about this trip - from calling to make the reservation, to the company accommodating our request to be picked up at the cruise port, to the actual tour itself was awesome. The tour guides were absolutely wonderful - from being knowledgeable and friendly, to making sure we had water and offering to take pictures for us, we really can't say enough about them. The owner of the company came around and introduced himself to us before we went on the tour, and also checked in with us after the tour while we were having lunch. As for the tour itself, this was our second time in Aruba, and this was my favorite thing we did on our entire 10 day cruise! We loved going to the natural pool - getting to jump from the rocks in to the water, going to see the natural bridge, everything was awesome. As other reviewers noted - the BUMPY ride is no joke, but it was so FUN! We had an amazing time and I would recommend that if you're thinking about booking the tour do it, you won't regret it! If you are traveling on a cruise, try calling to schedule your reservation, we were able to tell them our ship name, what time we were arriving and they were able to pick us up and drop us off in the port, it would have been helpful to clarify where we would meet at the port inside the gate right outside the info center but that was likely my error!
This is a 'must do' - one fantastic adventure. The drive into the pool area is a bit rocky, but our tour guide navigated without a hitch.
The pool was full of tropical fish. One tip bring sneakers for the hike from the parking area to the pool.
Highly recommend this tour! Although, we could not go into the Natural Pool because of the waves, the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Andrew, our tour guide was great! Lunch after the tour was delicious. Well worth the money!
Hugo was an excellent guide
very enjoyable day
A highlight of our vacation and an overall outstanding experience for our family group of 11, ranging in ages, 6 - 56! We received prompt pickup at our cruise terminal. Great food in a pleasant atmosphere before heading out. A scenic tour with stops and plenty of photo opportunities. An adventurous 4 x 4 cruisin experience-- that had us thrilled and laughing our heads off! And although we had to alter our swim hole due to the rough sea conditions that day, the trip was topped off by a great swim hole adventure at at alternate location before we were returned to our cruise ship. Being the owners of water sport activities ourselves, we were impressed with the ease of checking in bought online, the friendliness of the entire staff--especially our guides Ivo and Big G who were funny, attentive, and focused on safety, while providing an excursion to be remembered by all and talked about for hours, if not days after! Thanks ABC Tours--we will definitely recommend your company and this tour to others and we hope to return to do it all again in the future. Your MD Friends!
Fun offroading - note that you may have to drive.... I got lucky and road in the jeep with the tour guide.
Take a break from Aruba’s picture-perfect beaches with a half-day tour to another of the island’s natural highlights, the Natural Pool in Arikok National Park. Sitting pretty on Aruba’s east coast, the Natural Pool, surrounded by volcanic rock, provides a fun and interesting place to swim and snorkel with other adventurous types who’ve made the off-road trek by 4x4 vehicle. Your caravan also stops at island attractions like the Gold Mill Ruins and Natural Bridge. Cold drinks and hotel transport included.
