Found De Palm Island outing to be relaxing. While there are several activities for children I found adults could participate in a variety of activities, some which did include an additional cost which I had been advised of ahead of time. Appreciated the variety of choices for both breakfast and lunch. Given the location of the island I was glad to see hotel pick-up/drop-off were included. Returned to my hotel feeling very relaxed!
Lovely place and the food is plentiful and great. Wish I could have done Snuba but I have asthma and they won't allow it because compressed air is no good for you. The island is perfect for young kids and people who want to relax. The snorkeling is beautiful and the beach is calm. wear beach shoes because it is rocky in several places. I can't wait to go back. It is well worth the price.
Had a great day. Loads of food, plenty to drink, great snorkeling and easy to find a beach chair. Remember to bring a towel. Would recommend.
Fun and Fun and very enjoyable. Would like to go again sometime.
GREAT!!!! alot of fun, beautiful water and good food and drinks. will definately go back
The island is small, but did not feel crowded. There are private cabana areas and lots of area to lay around. There are a mixture of free and paid activities for both kids and adults.
cool, fun, relaxing day but more for kids and families...
Bus was excellent but the food was horrible. Hot breakfast was cold. Bacon was burnt. Breakfast was horrible.
Would return for the R and R The food is not the best and the drinks are watered down
I am a solo female traveler in my late 20’s and this island is designed around family fun. Water parks, open bar and grill, banana boat rides, and zip lining. All sound fun, but for a solo traveler surrounded by children? I found myself already having paid for the full day and I left on the first ferry off the island. I should probably also include that I live a couple hours drive from the Wisconsin Dells (“Waterpark Capital if the World”) so my standards for a place like that are quite high. I don’t doubt this is great for families with small children, but it definitely wasn’t for me. It got 2 stars because I absolutely loved the SNUBA experience. Great snorkeling, but worth the price to be transported out there? Absolutely not.
Sometimes you just need to escape the routine of the hotel scene. Switch it up with unlimited food and beverage, boundless activities, and unrestricted relaxation on a unique coral island just off the shore of Aruba. Have a blast with limitless banana boat rides or become one with the elements at one of the beaches that offer snorkeling in waters teeming with Blue Parrotfish. De Palm Island, Aruba’s premiere and only all-inclusive attraction, accommodates visitors of all kinds from those looking for family-oriented fun to those seeking out romance and privacy.
