The trip was amazing. They give you food so don't forget to grab some before you leave the boat and feed them while under water. Amazing experience
We had a brilliant time out at the blue lagoon in Bali, everything was perfect from the driver, lunch and snorkeling. We even went to a coffee plantation which was not part of the price but free to go and enjoy tea and coffee samples. We highly recommend
Very amazing experience with this tour group snorkelling. Transport was safe and comfy, the snorkeling locations were amazing and had the full 2 hours. The food was yummy and communication with the people involved was very good. Would recommend.
My husband and I love to snorkel so chose this trip for a bit of fun. We were accompanied by our guide Ketut Soma who was wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Bali and was very accommodating. The water was quite choppy the day we went snorkeling so the Blue Lagoon was a bit murkey under the water. We were fortunate enough to see some amazing fish and coral.
My wife and I were interested to see the sea life in Bali as we come from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean. We did this tour on Wed 24th July 2019.
It appears that these spots in Bali are dying most likely due to tourist touching the coral and pollution ( there were a few floating garbage bags I collected). It reminds me of Buccoo reef in Tobago that has mostly died for the same reason. None the less I am sure there are spots that are still thriving that your average tourist cannot directly visit as there is in Tobago east coast that is full of life and still remains the best dive sites that I have experienced. For any eco tourist interested.
The first spot we visited had some living coral and a fair amount of fish. The boat captain gave us some bread to feed the fish. The water at this spot was very calm(good for snorkeling) and the fish were very happy for the food.
The second spot, blue lagoon was almost sadly completely dead and the water was a bit choppy. It reminded me of Buccoo reef in Tobago which at one point was thriving, full of life, but after years of tourist activity it is now mostly dead and restricted to promote regeneration.
For beginners who have never seen a reef before this may be a nice attraction but the tour provider should consider moving the visits around to other spots to give the reefs time to recover.
On the other hand, my driver ,Baruna was excellent. Very friendly, attentive and willing to go the extra mile. Food at the restaurant was mostly vegetarian but was yummy!.
We had 2 spots for snorkelling, the first was pretty good, lots of fish and decent area to snorkel. The second spot was blue lagoon, which was dirty and had no fish, murky waters and plastic floating around. Driver was fantastic, arrived on time, very knowledgeable and friendly.
Food was lovely and showers available for washing after trip.
Made two stops on very rustic boat. First stop was gorgeous. Lots of beautiful fish n coral. Water was pretty clear. Second stop at Blue Lagoon had little fish to see but pretty coral. Lots of trash floating around. Lunch was fine.
Are you looking for a great snorkeling spot in Bali? There are several spots which can offer that to you, but we highly recommend you to go to Blue Lagoon. This is one of the best spots among the tourists. You will experience snorkeling at 2 fantastic spots for approximate 2 hours where you'll see tons of marine life!
