There were nine people on our tour—such a nice change from the big bus tours out of Cancun. Our guide, Gina, was terrific. She had an incredible wealth of knowledge about the Mayans that she shared with us at Tulum. Lunch was very nice for a buffet in an outdoor setting in the jungle. The highlight was our underground swim in a cenote/cavern, which is a truly special experience. Please note there is quite a bit of walking on rough surfaces and steep climbs down to the dry cave and the swimming cavern; you might want to think twice if you have bad knees or hips.

Our guide, Gina, is very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Mayan ruins and civilization from her. She answered all our question in details. The snorkeling part was OK. It was raining so we did not see much. The beach is very beautiful though.
The cenotes is a must see. Make sure you waterproofed your phone so can take video/photos while snorkeling.

Our Guide Mariano and his team (Roman and Victoria) were amazingly helpful. Before explaining my experience, this is what you need for this tour. Make sure you have a GoPro or water camera as you will miss a lot of great pictures when you snorkel and enter the Cenote . You will need strong mosquito repellent when you are walking through the jungle. Make sure to have an extra pair of clothes, so you can change once you are done with the water activities. Also, make sure to have tip money, they do an amazing job and Victoria takes unforgettable pictures throughout each activity. (Tip is well deserved) Lunch was delicious. I love empanadas, white rice, beans, shredded chicken or pork (which they were offering) and spicy sauces- eating while you see iguanas and other creatures was pretty awesome!
OUR EXPERIENCE Mariano and his team were very punctual. They provided snacks (bananas, muffins, and a brown sac of goodies) and the delicious lunch. Mariano the guide was very quick to explain how the day would run. When we got into the van, he immediately started telling us where we were going and how many other people we were going to pick up. IT was nice to know the "agenda". He spoke about each site with such caring interest. He wanted us to know how important it is to protect the coral reef, sea creatures, and the Cenote.
I brought my 60+ diabetic mother. She has a hard time walking, and Mariano was extremely patient with her. Mariano took the initiative to make her walk with him at the very front. My mother doesn't know how to swim and is terrified of the ocean so snorkeling was out of the question. However, Mariano encouraged her to get on the boat (we all had to wear life jackets) and after the snorkeling activity was done, my mother told me that she was so glad that Mariano had "pushed" her to see the experience that others were having. When we got to the Cenote, again my mother didn't want to do it because she couldn't swim, but Mariano encouraged her to at least walk up to the platform to see all of us jump and see the majestic view of this site/activity. My mother asked if she could stay in the van, but he said that he had to ensure that the belongings of the other passengers were safe and found a quiet comfortable waiting area for her. He was very knowledgeable and sites were breath taking. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. TOTALLY WORTH WAKING UP EARLY to get a more "intimate" tour. our money was well spent even when we did the quick souvenir shopping.

Our family of 5 with 16-21 yr old kids had a blast. They packed alot into the day and we were happily exhausted at the end. Lunch was really good and plenty. Juan, our guide, was top notch. The Ruins tour was good, the reef snorkel was alot of fun, and the Cenote was the highlight. Book this!

Our guides, driver, and photographer were so accomodating. We got picked up at the time stated, we started at Tulum, then snorkeled, then a traditional lunch was served. After lunch we went through a dry remote and then swam in the set one. It was a fantastic experience.

We had a wonderful time with our charismatic guide Diana! The longest part of the tour was picking up and dropping off the guests as well as the professional photographer that came along our tour. Once we made it to Tulum we met a federal guide inside the site who gave us some interesting information about this beautiful city. It was absolutely gorgeous there and we wondered why the Mayan's hadn't moved there sooner from hot and humid Chichen Itza. At Tulum we saw the cute little racoon-like animals called coati, who live there as well as iguanas, smaller lizards, and some interesting birds. Next we drove minutes into the jungle to tour a dry cenote then swim in a wet cenote. They were both stunning and wonderful natural beauties to visit! My sister and I were a little nervous about swimming in the wet cenote since the waters are so high this time of year (rainy season). We were all ducking our heads to swim under the ROOF of the stalactites of the cenote. But we did some slow, deep breaths and enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience. Afterwards we had a nice latin lunch in the jungle which consisted of black beans, rice, and a choice of pulled chicken or pulled pork tacos. There was a yummy green salsa on the table for extra flavor and chips. Next, we drove 25 minutes to the coast to snorkel in a lagoon since the conditions were too choppy with low visibility in the ocean that day. My sister and I sat outside the lagoon and enjoyed the sun while the rest of the group snorkeled. Afterward we viewed the pictures the professional photographer took and people had the option to buy them. I didn't feel the photographer added any value to the experience and it slowed down the tour because they would stop us a different spots to each take pictures whether we were interested in doing so or not. I would have rather had more time exploring Tulum and the jungle of the cenotes then stop to wait for each group to say cheese. After viewing the pictures we made the long journey back. We dropped of our guide Diana and photographer in Playa del Carmen and were told our driver Ricardo would handle driving and DJ duties from there. Up until we dropped off Diana the music consisted of Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, etc. Ricardo chose Marilyn Manson, ACDC, Danzig, Metallica and the like. I'm ok with these bands at certain times but the positive, relaxing energy we had up to that point quickly dwindled on the way back to the hotels.

A lot of information at the Tulum Ruins, great guide. Anticipate a lot of standing/walking. Enjoyed the snorkeling, would call it good, not great. The reefs we were taken too were obviously pretty beat up, but we did see fish and turtles. Cenote and caves were very educational and the highlight of the tour! Although be prepared for the mosquitos! The snacks were fabulous. Lunch was just okay. Was well worth the price we paid. I want to add there was a snafu at the beginning of out tour with the need to change guides, but they took care of it quickly and without any affect to the group.

Really like our tour guide gina.. very educational, frienfly and helpful. Loved the walk through cenotes and the swim. Not a lot of sea life to see on snorkel.

Our guide, Juan was awesome. However...shuttle was over crowded. Tour needs separate storage for snorkel gear and passengers. Had to ride from reef area to cenote in soggy sandy lifevests carrying all our gear on our laps 🙁 Organization was lacking....
