After a pickup from your centrally located Dubai hotel, relax in your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle on the way to your first Dubai city stop: the striking Burj Al-Arab hotel. Located on the sands of Jumeirah Beach, on an artificial island, the luxury hotel is one of the tallest in the world, standing at roughly 1,053 feet (321 meters). Stop for a photo, and then continue with your guide along the shoreline to Jumeirah, one of Dubai's upmarket residential areas.
Next, head to Bastakiya to see the contrast between the two neighborhoods. Explore the winding lanes that lead to hidden courtyards and the mud-brick homes topped by traditional wind towers, designed to catch cooling offshore breezes. Continue to old Al-Fahidi Fort, home to Dubai Museum, and take in views of the fort’s cannons, turrets and fortified walls. Then, cross Dubai's central waterway, Dubai Creek, in a traditional abra; it’s a must-do activity in Dubai!
On the Deira side of Dubai Creek, soak up the colors and perfumes of the famous Spice Souq. Then enjoy free time to shop for souvenirs or glimmering accessories in the nearby Deira Gold Souq before returning to your hotel.

Really great trip with Norman our fantastic guide His passion and his love for his city really came across The trip was varied well planned and covered so much in a short time
Would highly recommend
Perfect for half a day because I already did all the other parts of the city on my own. Highly recommended!
The guide was very informative. He had a lot of information about Dubai and its culture. He was also very friendly and a well mannered person. We stopped at the beach overlooking the 7 star hotel, Jumeriah mosque as well as the gold and spice souks. Very worthy of the price we paid as well.
My tour guide was excellent. He was quite informative and funny. A professional the entire time and enthusiastic to share his knowledge for his country. I enjoyed it.
We went on the tour on Thursday 22nd of November in the afternoon. As a couple that had never visited Dubai before we found that it covered quite a lot and was very interesting. Loads of photo opportunities, the beach, the river (which we crossed by boat) the gold and spice markets and various souvenirs. The English speaking guide gave us plenty of information and the driver good as well. This tour is a great way of seeing parts of the city that you wouldn’t usually see. We booked all our Dubai trips through Viator (it was so easy) and we’d definitely book trips with them again. The best part for us was the price when you think of Dubai you usually think expensive but all trips were reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised at the cost.
At the stop near the Burj Al Arab, the tour guide did not advise us that more people would be joining the tour, so we lost our seats upon returning to the bus. Plus we had left some private items onboard. The guide provided commentary in German and Engish to cater for the group, which proved to be confusing and was often disjointed, as we'd past things by the time he gave us the English version.
Driver appeared to pass our drop-off point in order to take others to their destinations before us, making the tour finish later than expected.
With having to wait almost half an hour waiting for latecomers, we felt rushed for the best parts of individual exploration portions of the tour. Guide was friendly and helpful, but the English was difficult to understand even from the front row. As far as the review-type goes, there is no option for our family which included seniors (no kids, no teens).
Not very helpful. Tour guide was quite difficult to understand. Seemed to focus mostly on german tourists.
The company that runs this trip is terrible . No communication , got picked up by stinking mini bus , not told what was happening , over an hour going all over the place to pick up other passengers only to end up meeting a coach ( worse than the mini bus ) . This trip is so bad we got off the bus and got a cab back - real shame as one of the trips we really wanted to do . Don't bother , see these sights on your own , much easier , cheaper and more rewarding . No issue with Viator - it is the company that runs the trip - I had to phone them 5 times just for a confirmation of pick up . Viator needs to drop this company and find one that does the trip properly ( like all the other trips we did thru viator whilst in Dubai )
