I visited Dubai in March 2019, and saw this trip on viator, and booked it as it seemed interesting and included the ticket to the Burj Khalifa. This is a hop on hop off coach trip, and includes many different places in it. The museum was exceptional and very informative and interestin. Over all a good trip. My only grip is that there were 3 different trips amalgamated into 1, which made it very confusing for everyone on the trip. Some people ended after all the attractions were done and we returned to Dubai Mall, where the trip ends, and we all got off the bus. other's like myself were then going to the top of the Burj Khalifa, so were given tickets and shown the way to the entrance. The rest were given an hour to have lunch and then carry one with a full day trip. Those of us who went up the burj Khalifa did not have a chance to eat anything till 4pm since breakfast that morning. This is not great as most of us were very hungry and feeling faint by then.
This was a bad e oerience. The tour guide and driver did not know there was a marathon on the day of our tour, so the main road Jumeirah Beach Road was closed. The road to the Burj Al Arab hotel was also closed, so they did not take us to the beach or marina. The guide did not point out many of the attractions listed. When I asked about the palace, he said the ruler lives far away. We did not see the Dubai Museum either. They spent more time driving around closed roads, then said they had an afternoon pick up. The company should have known about the marathon. What a waste of time and money.
I would definitely ask you to stay away from this tour. I wish I could give you the name of the tour guide, so than you can ask that he not be your guide. The driver was also non responsive.
A Dubai tour without Burj Khalifa is like Paris without the Eiffel Tower. This choice is a must if you do have the time in your program
