Description:

After pickup from the Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC) or your centrally located hotel in Kuala Lumpur, travel by air-conditioned minivan to the first stop on your half-day tour: Merdeka Square. Also called Independence Square, this symbol of Malaysian independence is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire both traditional and modern architectural masterpieces before moving on to the King’s Palace.

Known as Istana Negara, this residence of the King of Malaysia doesn't allow visitor access inside the building, but you can take photos of the exterior along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly.

The Petronas Twin Towers are an ideal place for photo ops; if you choose to purchase a ticket to the Observation Deck and Skybridge, gaze at the city skyline and capture unforgettable moments on camera.

KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across.

Contrast your visit to these glass and steel marvels with the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in 1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in KL and features a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles, along with 48 smaller domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard.

Next up is the Chinese Thean Hou Temple. Learn about the synergy of influences such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism that converge to form an unforgettable architectural ensemble. Checkout out numerous statues of animals from astrology and impressive statues of the Goddess of Mercy and the Goddess of the Waterfront.

Stop by the tranquil Lake Gardens, the National Museum — home to collections of ancient and modern art pieces, weapons, and traditional costumes — and the exquisite façade of the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station with its fairytale-like towers and mix of Eastern and Western architectural styles.

Finish at the National Monument (Tugu Negara), a bronze tribute to the lives that were lost in the fight for Malaysian independence, designed by American architect Felix de Weldon. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to the starting point.

Henry was our tour guide and the absolute best guide ever !! He was very outgoing and hilarious which made him a joy to be with. And so patient with me and my many pictures request and knew that a girl needs options in photos lol. And knew all the best photo stops. Went to every where as stated and the chocolate shop was delicious!! Henry, thank you so much our friend!

Enjoyable day touring the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur starting at the Petronas Towers, visiting a chocolate factory and watching the amazing production of Batic. Also visited the National Museum and Royal Palace.

This was our first visit to Kuala Lumpur and this tour was an excellent way to see the highlights. Our Tourist Guide was very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend this tour.

Was a nice little 3.5 hour trip to get your bearings of this beautiful city, I would recommend the trip for the price you pay it’s well worth it. Prompt pick up time as well by the driver and never rushed you at any of the places we visited.

Ideal Tour for the first time visitor. Took the 9am slot and avoided both the afternoon heat and the crowds. Tour was well planned and we were fortunate that it was a public holiday so traffic was minimal and we did not waste time stuck in traffic. Well worth the money

Our tour guide, Mr Bakshi, was so passionate and kept us well informed of all that Kuala Lumpur has to offer from the time we were collected until we were dropped off again. He virtually gave running commentary about everything we drove past and saw. He's definitely an asset to his company and great ambassador for Kuala Lumpur. The tour included all the sites which we wanted to see except the National Monument which was excluded in our tour.

We have mixed feelings. We went to different places in a car and basically very little was told during the trip. The driver talked as much on his trips to Europe. He was delayed 20 min and we stopped 30 min before. The tour included three completely useless visits to leather, food and chocolate stores.

The driver spent 95 of his time on the phone. He didn't tell us anything about what we where seeing, history or anything of interest. He just drove, stopped for us to walk around and then on to the next stop. Sights and stops were good, but tour let down by driver.
