I originally booked this tour in order to see some things that weren't included on the half-day tour I had done the previous day -- specifically Batu Caves and Royal Selangor pewter factory. When I met my guide, Robert, I explained the situation to him and he immediately began brainstorming alternatives to the things I had already seen. He asked me about my specific interests, offered suggestions, and developed a new itinerary for me as we drove to Batu Caves. He catered to my preferences seamlessly and put together an excellent tour.
Fun tour guide. Very entertaining and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour.
A lot of steps up and down to the temple but you have to do it, great trip and once again very well looked after. A must do
Tour and guide were both great. The Batu caves were awesome and the tour at the Pewter factory was interesting. Very friendly professional guide who is extremely knowledgeable about KL. Loved the view from the top of the KL tower and the banana leaf lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this tour.
Great tour if you have a short time in KL,
This trips was very interesting, Thurai, our driver was an excellent guide. He explained to us very interesting things about the objectives of the visited places. So we feel the spirit of the malay people.
We liked very much the lunch traditional indian food.
The car is very clean and comfortable and Thurai is a very good driver.
I recommend this trip for a very pleasant experience
No other word but AMAZING. The tickets were waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived, as promised and we were picked up on time at the hotel the following day and we had a tour guide all to ourselves for the day out. He was fabulous, very knowledgeable, helpful, entertaining and wonderful. We saw so many sights that we would never have seen or found and the meal that was included was scrummy. Our first authentic Indian feast, eating off of banana leaves. I cannot recommend this tour enough, fabulous and made the visit a wonderful one.
This tour was amazing. Our tour guide Thurman was just great. He was knowledgeable and friendly so we thoroughly enjoyed his company.
The highlight was visiting the Batu caves and during the festival.
Excellent tour! From pickup at the hotel until the end of the day, I was on sensory overload! Highly recommend this tour, my guide was fluent in English, personable and had a great sense of humor. My two favorites being Batu Caves and Little India where we had lunch of traditional Indian dishes served on a banana leaf an option I thoroughly enjoyed.
The Batu Cave portion of this tour was definitely the highlight. Our guide took us all the way to the top of the caves, fully explained what we were seeing, and even had us participate in a blessing ceremony with one of the monks. On our way back to the car he spotted a couple who had just gotten married, and who were at the caves for a photo op, and talked us in to some of the pictures. Great stuff!
The rest of the tour didn't live up to its' beginning. We didn't get to the Kuala Lumpur Tower for our photo op, and got only a cursory trip through Little India without much commentary. Traffic was part of the problem, but not all. We did get to see Independence Square, and walk around the various buildings that surround it, as well as the junction of the two rivers that were the impetus for the founding of Kuala Lumpur. Our guide also took us to a great place, on the outskirts of Little India, for lunch, complete with banana leaves. He was informative, gave us a lot of good information, and spoke excellent English. All in all, interesting but a bit uneven. Your guides need to stick to the published itinerary....
