first time visiting the are and was not disappointed. Trip was well worth it unlimited supply of water and breakfast bars, very informative good timing, would choose different restaurants to eat at but that is not a priority, cause I got sticker shock at some of the places.. clean and comfortable busride, gave enough time to take in the sights highly recommend.
Our tour guide John, was both informative and funny. Such a pleasure !!!
Our driver Shannon was an absolute pro and also very helpful and approachable. The only downside were two other British tourists who came on the tour with the wrong attitude and kept moaning and were quite frankly rude and sarcastic to John on the seat behind us. He remained polite and jovial throughout.
The Grand Canyon was amazing. Even though my husband and I could not do the walking tour due to his recent hip replacement, The Angel Bright Lodge had a beautiful view of the rich color of the Grand Canyon it is very deep and wide and as the sun is setting you get a different view. The hospitality was great. The Fred Harvey cafe inside The Angel Bright Lodge potato soup was a great ending to our chilly day.
Everything went just as they said it would. Our tour guide John Clarke and our bus driver David (Fleck) did everything to make the tour a great one! Totally enjoyed it! Highly would recommend it.
The tour ,the guide, the visit of the part off rôad 66 ,the lunch was perfect .All the information during the trip was very interresting . I recommande this beautifull day to everybody
The tour and professionalism was perfect. The meal was excellent, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we were fogged out. Couldn't see over the ridge of the canyon. Just bad luck. The driver was very good, both as a driver, and a tour leader. He was very polite, professional, and helpful.
This trip is full-on, with a very early start and a late finish. It's very well organised, and great value. Breakfast snacks, bottled water, and a box lunch are included. There's a brief stop on the way back to get food-to-go. As well as the Grand Canyon itself, you get to spend some time at the Hoover Dam, as well as a photo stop at Seligman on Route 66. You get 3 hours at the Canyon, with an optional 2.5 mile walk along the rim. It would be worth checking the weather conditions before you go; we didn't have the proper footwear for the walk as the trail was icy. There's still plenty to occupy you, learning about the characters who lived and worked at the Canyon. We would definitely recommend this tour.
Good tour. Highly recommended! The tour guide was friendly and helpful. Wish they had outlets on the bus to charge your phones, that would be great!
This tour was a great way to experience the Grand Canyon for the first time. Our tour guide, Joey, is such a great entertainer and fountain of knowledge! He made the whole trip so enjoyable and looked so well after all of us the whole day. Although it's quite a long trip, he brought documentaries and movies along, which made the time fly by. The tour itself is very well structured and Joey was great at timekeeping so we never got stuck at attractions and food spots behind other tour buses following the same itinerary. Although I am sure a helicopter tour would've had it's own charm, I am glad I chose a walking tour as a way to experience the Canyon for the first time. Actually walking around and breathing it all in and taking all the amazing pictures was well worth the long day.
The coach itself was very comfortable and our driver Keith was very professional and got us back to Vegas safe and sound and well in time to enjoy the New Year's eve celebrations. Both him and Joey kept us fed and watered the whole journey with snacks and bottled water, and the lunch included in your tour price is very decent.
I recommend booking the tour including the walking guided tour as it is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of the Grand Canyon, the facts about it and it helps you to not get distracted and stay there the whole time taking pictures because it is that breathtaking :)
All I all, I totally recommend this tour!
The Grand Canyon is beyond beautiful. Hoover damn, check. We spotted several elk and deer along the way. Beautiful dessert scenery. The tour itself met all of the basic requirements.
