I've been to see the Harry Potter Studio Tour before in 2016. Wanted to go back and experience again. Things have changed!! The entry way has been updated and include all new vestibule and entrance hall for fans. It's Big, Bold, and a great experience. Highly recommend it to everyone!!
If you are a Harry Potter fan you will LOVE the studio tour! Well worth the entry price. It was everything we imagined plus more!
We went to Victoria Coach station which is near our hotel. We took their coach which left at 10.15am sharp. Service is good and instructions were clear. We reached WB studio an hour later. The coach picked us up at 4pm sharp and sent us back to Victoria Coach station. An excellent experience.
This tour will capture the heart of both harry potter admirers and enthusiasts alike, it is very much worth the experience and the cost.
This was our second visit and it was great to see the new displays. And the entrance and the 1st food hall had a much better setting than last trip.
This was my first visit into the London area but this was on the top of my to-do list. I have to say, going around and seeing the sights of London was fun but this place was, in the simplest terms, magical and breathtaking. Even though I was traveling alone, that didn't take away slightly from this whole experience. So if you are debating going solo, don't, you will regret not going to see this.
From the gift-shop where you might consider bankruptcy, to the tour itself where you will experience and see first hand the magic of what was created and get some cool photos along the way. It was something to behold. I went during December so there was a theme of Winter at Hogwarts and that just added to the whole experience, as someone who's favorite time of year is Christmas, the Great Hall decked out with Christmas trees and like the Yule Ball from the 4th movie I was like a little kid all over again and dreams were coming true before my eyes.
So go, by yourself, with friends, take your family because it's a magical journey that will leave you breathless and full of wonder for any Harry Potter fan out there.
The trip going there was good. The Harry Potter exhibition was excellent better than that even. Unfortunately we were told to return to the bus no later than 15h50,only to find a bus of your operator with the driver asleep inside. upon waking him up he said its not his trip at 16h00. At 16h15 another bus of your operator arrived who after much unpleasantness took us home at about 16h30. His attitude was at all times very rude and even obnoxious, left us standing including people with small children in the cold wind and rain. will avoid future Viator tour with this operator.
The HP experience is top-notch. For any big HP fans, this is a must do. However, there are cheaper ways to see it besides this Viator tour. We paid basically 3x what it would have cost from the WB site (which also included coach transfers)....but, we missed the boat and glad this was available. The coach service was pretty nice and we had about 5 hours at the studio.
I only booked this tour because all of the tickets sold directly by Warner Bros had sold out, which meant I paid double and all you get extra is bus transport there and back...daylight robbery! The studio tour itself is fabulous and a must-see, the bus ride there and back not so much. My husband was almost sick from the shoddy driving, we couldn't wait to get off.
Let's be honest, all you are really paying for (and paying quite a bit for) is the scalper's fee. These tickets are substantially less if you buy months and months in advance. But I suspect the tour sells out because companies like this buy the tickets immediately upon availability and then re-sell at a significant premium. I really blame Warner Brothers for this situation.
You are also paying for a bus ride to and from the Warner Brothers Studio, but this can hardly be much, and, anyways, it wasn't worth it. Both outbound and inbound were significantly late. In fact, on the return, the bus driver and the tour operator were totally out of sync with respect to the pickup time, causing us a small amount of distress.
The tour itself was great, but this tour operator does not, in any way, participate in that.

Follow in the footsteps of Hogwarts’ students as you walk around original sets like Diagon Alley and Platform 9 ¾, complete with the Hogwarts Express steam engine. Get up close to costumes and props, and discover the wizardry required to create the mind-blowing special effects and animatronics.
