Rob was wonderfully entertaining and so knowledgeable about the history of the pubs as well as the the area in which the pub was located. You definitely must do this tour if ever in London.
My sister and I took the tour on March 10th and even with all the walking - and, okay, maybe a pint or two of beer - and drizzling rain, we had an enjoyable time. Our guide Freddie knew a thing or three about London pubs and the dizzying assortment of beers, stouts, ales and even gin and shared his knowledge with the eight of us on the tour in an entertaining yet factual way. As he did his college thesis on historical pubs (I think I got that right) he was the perfect man for the job. I highly recommend this fun, factual tour; just remember to pace yourself...
We had a great time. Jan was a lot of fun and did an excellent job acquainting us with the history of Central London as well as the pubs that served the area.
Freddy was amazing. Very knowledgeable and interesting. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of some of London's most spectacular pubs.
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Our guide, Eileen, was a delight. Full of knowledge and energy.
Loved this wonderful pub tour with colorful history and anecdotes! Our guide, Chris, took us to four charming and very different bars that included the oldest pub in London to the ornate Black Friars! Chris was so knowledgeable about breweries and each of the bars and his funny, quirky anecdotes and history along our route were just the best! We loved this tour and had so much fun—even had dinner with some fellow tour mates at the last pub. Would highly recommend and would do again next time!
Chris was amazing! So thorough in his fantastic knowledge of beer and ciders. He made the walk interesting with history along the way!
Dave was So great that he knows the best pubs. Beside the pubs, he gave so much info while we were walking around in london.
Great tour of some historic pubs in London. Our guide, Eileen, was charming, engaging, and genuine. It was great doing a small group tour, we were able to meet people from different parts of the world and enjoy a few pints along the way. The tour also included some sites along the way in between stops that added some interesting history. Would definitely do again next time I am in London.
Myself and 5 friends did this tour which was excellent. Kevin was our guide who made it very interesting not only talking about the pubs but history in the area as well. I would recommend it to anyone even if you don't drink beer.
