You'll be sorted by a sorting hat into your destined Hogwarts House, with a gift to mark the occasion. Your guide will be quizzing you and keeping score for each house too, so get studying your Harry Potter trivia. Not only is there an animated scoreboard, there are video clips to see to remind you of the scene you're looking at. Grab one of the available costume pieces and reenact famous scenes too - may the best house win.

Use your knowledge of spells to outwit the guide and seek out inspirations and film locations around the stunning city of London.

Marvel at locations, such as the entrance to the fictional Diagon Alley, invisible to the Muggle world, the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, soak in the views from the bridge, which was destroyed in the Half Blood Prince.

You will start at the theatre that's currently showing "the Cursed Child", set 19 years after the battle of Hogwarts. From there, head down Charing Cross road following the route of the Deatheaters flight to Diagon Alley. Then visit the inspiration for Knocturn Alley and then a short walk down to Trafalgar Square to the Ministry of Magic. This 2-hour walk will take you from Leicester Square, to Trafalgar Square to the Thames, then over to St. Pauls Cathedral, to Millenium Bridge, then Borough Market and London Bridge. our guide john was great! very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. definitely worth the money. we were lucky to have this tour on our first day in london. jon showed us how to go about the tube and buses. discussed the oyster card. it was not.only a harry potter tour but actually a walking tour of london. thank you john.

Great tour with Tom. Definitely worth doing and the quiz questions added some fun.

The tour was fantastic and Tom was a great guide. Only disappointment was the souvenir; which was just a card. There also should be more trivia questions!

Tom, the tour guide, was great with a fun personality and sense of humor to keep the tour interesting even when not at a specific location. He did a great job dealing with some difficult group members who were a bit rude and always slow delaying the group. It was a good overview of several locations from the book/film and the history/backstory. If you're a Harry Potter fan, it's a great experience to see the real Diagon and Knockturn alley areas as well as the other stops. Tom through in some general information about London sites as well so it was overall a well rounded tour and well worth the money. Keep in mind, this is not a tour of any of the sound stages, etc. from the film, but a waking tour on actual London streets with Harry Potter trivia and facts. A good overview tour and just a fun experience in general.

Very enthusiastic guide and enjoyed it but the tour is much longer than the advertised 2.5 miles. Did not mind that as the guide and the sites were well worth the time and efforts.

We did this tour on July 17. Our guide was Tom. He was great - very entertaining. Our group was small - only 14 people which made it nice to keep everyone together. You do need an Oyster card or some other payment to ride the Tube in Zone 1. You take the Underground to get to some of the walking tour destinations. Platform 9 and 3/4 is a bit disappointing. There is a luggage trolley built into the brick wall to give the illusion of going through the wall, but there was a huge line of people there for a photo company that will take your photo with the trolley. Enjoyable tour for Harry Potter fans. Bring water to drink - you are on the go for 2 hours. We enjoyed the trivia questions.

I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Its probably a good tour for kids though and its cheap. Our group was just way too big with at least 30 and so it was so slow and was missing that personal interaction that makes a great tour. There was plenty of trivia for HP fans and the guides know their stuff about the movies. You do get to see some seriously old bits of London where they filmed various scenes. I was hoping for more and so not sure I would recommend. Definitely much further to walk than 2km - more like 4km. If you are after a photo at Platform 9 3/4 then be prepared to wait a long time.......

A fine walking tour of the great sights of London, with a tour guide who knows the specifics of the Harry Potter connection. This isn't much off the beaten path as you basically see Trafalgar Square, Millennium Bridge, Kings Cross, etc. So this would be a bad idea for somebody who spends much time in London. We also expected some fun gifts like wands or a little snack or something, but all we received were our sorting hat cards that were just like trading cards that teamed us up for good trivia. Tom was a great guide personally and knew his stuff. Worth the money, just don't get your hopes up for anything extremely unique that you're paying for except the guide.
