I would highly recommend this tour! The river cruise really makes the tour. I missed the 8am tour as my bus was delayed but the company re- accommodated me onto the afternoon tour and I am so thankful as I only had the one day in London. The guide was very informative and hilarious. Definitely a must do for when you are in London.
I have got to say that the tour was awesome and the tour guide provided many details. Also have many insiders. The stop in the park was awesome. Only thing I ask is that they clean the windows on the bus as you cant see out the windows and there are cob webs.
saw main land marks
Tour guide was cheerful and knowledgeable. Driver navigated the London traffic well, dodging cyclists and pedestrians with ease. Bus was not that comfortable, but it was fun being on a 60’s era double decker. Drizzly day, but we could see everything. The boat ride was nice. We had to wait a while in the rain to get on, though.
Prepare to be there early in the morning (which can be difficult when staying outside of London). There needs to be a little more organization at your meeting point as multiple tours leave from one spot. Tour itself was a great overview of London’s major tourist hot spots. We choose this tour because it was only half a day and we have enough time to visit other areas on our list afterwards. Tour didn’t feel too rushed and we were able to have a bathroom/coffee break halfway in. The plus to being there so early was that many crowds at the palace and other big stops hadn’t gotten there yet so pictures were much easier. Our favorite part of the tour was the Thames River cruise. We would honestly got back again for another cruise. Tour guides were friendly and well versed with the attractions and city. Recommend this tour for people looking for a small tour and new to London.
Great way to see the city. The tour on the boat was really nice.
This was a nice tour - the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the fish and chips meal voucher was for a restaurant that was SO crowded, it was almost impossible to get a seat. The seating was first come, first served. So we had to walk around the restaurant constantly waiting for someone to finish dinner and hope to grab the table before someone else grabbed it. It was very confusing and stressful trying to make dinner work under these circumstances
A good experience!
The idea of taking a vintage bus tour sounded better in theory than it was in the execution. We went on a very rainy day and the inside of the bus leaked all over the place. The engine was very loud so it made it hard to hear our guide. Those on our tour were all very excited when we got to the boat ride as the boat was modern, comfortable, and dry inside. I would not recommend this tour and would instead find a bus tour that uses modern and more comfortable buses.
Very boring tour. The tour guide could not manage time to get into Buckingham palace to see change the guard. I ended up seeing nothing but sea of tourists and lost him because he does not carry a tour board. I was lucky to find him again but not the other 2 fellows
Discover London’s highlights on this action-packed half-day tour. Explore the city by vintage double-decker bus and see famous sights such as Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. Cruise down the Thames River on a sightseeing cruise to Westminster; watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Alternatively, upgrade to round off the day with fish and chips at a central London pub.
