spent wonderful day much to see great views of London Bridge.
ordered tickets online picked them up at entrance go to group ticket for pick up.
well worth the visit
Spectacular!! Great historical information given by Beefeaters, and the actors in the Medieval tower! Mid March id the time to visit as weather is not miserable and crowds are low. As a North Carolinian, I was particularly interested in Sir Walter Raleigh’s walk and study and garden.
French would have help... Change of the guards was interesting. And the jewels impressioning! Wheater was also nice.
Enjoyed the flow of the tour. No Beefeater tour was available due to in climate weather, that was the only disappointment. Learned so much about English history.
Had an awesome time with my wife and friends the tower was a great place to visit the crown jewels are something else will go back with the gran kids
A wonderful experience well worth a visit. The Crown jewels were amazing. Beefeaters very helpful and knowledgeable. A great day out especially having watched the series on TV able to recognise some people in there.
The tour isn't really a tour. It's merely a way to get your entry ticket in advance for pick up from the group ticket window. I assume the group ticket window has shorter lines than the regular ticket window, however on the day I went (a chilly Friday morning in early March) the regular ticket line was very short. The Beefeater tour, as other reviewers have mentioned, is offered on the half hour to anyone already in the museum and is free. So you don't need a special ticket for that at all. The Crown Jewels tour is also free to anyone who enters the museum, and this ticket does not get you in any quicker than anyone else. It is strictly an advance ticket with the possible benefit of a shorter wait to pick up your tickets.
The meeting point for redemption was out of date. It was because of the kind workers in the area that I was able to find the redemption point. This is solely for tickets but you still have to go to the counter to claim it. Once you’re inside the beefeaters give a wonderful tour. Which is free for anyone to join every 30 minutes. Save yourself some money and aggravation- just buy the ticket when you get there.
Disappointing visit. Beefeater tour was good, the Yeoman was humorous and informative, without that it would have been even more disappointing.
Not value for money.
I tried to get a refund as unable to go. When booking website stated could get a refund up to 48 hours. This turned out not to be so. I couldn't even transfer the dates. So i lost £80.00.
Will go direct to Tower of London next time.
