Stop At: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter, Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden WD25 7LR England
Step onto the breathtaking sets and take a glimpse behind the scenes of everyone’s favourite wizard from the Harry Potter films on this spectacular Harry Potter studio tour.
Walk through the doors of the Great Hall into the dining room, where the Sorting Hat famously sorted Hogwarts students into their houses. Can you find all of the golden snitches hidden in the set? Peer into the Gryffindor common room, Snape’s lab and the office of Professor Albus Dumbledore before making your way to the Forbidden Forest, where you’ll encounter a full-size model of Buckbeak and meet face-to-face with the giant spider, Aragog.
Marvel at how the SFX team at Warner Bros. created some of the movies’ scariest characters, including an animatronic foetal Lord Voldemort, and visit Privet Drive; home of Harry’s dreadful aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. In the costume section, see up close in incredible detail the wardrobes of characters such as Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and the students of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
Enter the set of Gringotts Wizarding Bank from 06 April 2019
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London will reveal a new permanent addition to your vist, Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
Lined by towering marble pillars, the grand banking hall will be decorated with three magnificent crystal chandeliers and finished with real brass leaf. Inkwells, quills, ledgers and piles of Galleons, Sickles and Knuts will complete the goblin tellers’ desks as seen on screen. The Prop-making Department, led by Pierre Bohanna, created over 210,000 coins for the final two films alone.
Gringotts Wizarding Bank is famously run by goblins. Walking through the imposing marble columns, you will discover costumes and prosthetics belonging to Bogrod, Griphook and many other goblin bankers.
Once through the banking hall of Gringotts, you will enter the depths of the Lestrange vault used to store the treasures of Bellatrix Lestrange including the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes. During filming 38,000 pieces of rubberised treasure were created the for the Lestrange vault including 7,014 Hufflepuff Cups. Here, you can have a unique photo opportunity allowing you to step inside the Lestrange vault and surround yourselves with treasure.
No visit would be complete without visiting Platform 9 ¾, and on this tour you’ll have a chance to snap a photo with the trolley on your way to catch the Hogwarts Express.

Took my son, who’s been a Harry Potter fan for as long as I can remember. It was a total highlight for my 16 year old. I love the Harry Potter series too. I think WB did a great job helping fans dive into the world of not only Harry Potter but movie making in general. We took a nice coach bus to the studios and really enjoyed ourselves.
It does get very crowded and you really have to spend a lot of time there so be prepared to eat, which also takes a lot of time.
I highly recommended this tour for any true Harry Potter Fan or someone interested in movie production.
Worth every penny. A wonderful day from the easy, friendly check-in by Evans Tours to controlled tour times of the Tour.
Food was, however, expensive.
Viator is a Great Tour Company!
The Warner Brothers Harry Potter

When we return to New York our Family will explore taking Viator Tours there.
Absolutely brilliant experience. We didn't get the return bus as we didn't want to rush the studio experience .
The program, the studio was fantastic, Even and Evans well organized, we arrived early, they had an air conditioned waiting room, perfect organization, really luxury bus, they provided everything they promised.
Wonderful displays and sets. Nice facility. Coach and drivers were excellent and helpful. Ran perfectly.
I purchased 8 tickets for me, my husband and 4 other adults and 2 teenagers from abroad. As we live 1/2 hour from Warner Brothers Studios, we did not want to have to go all the way into London, at significant cost, to then out again to the Studio by coach. In calling Viator to enquire whether i could pick the tickets up from the Studio, I was at first told 'no' and on a second call urged to take the bus, as the driver held the tickets and as I might not 'connect' with him at the Studio we might lose our tickets. Then on calling Viator a 3rd time, as I just couldn't believe my request couldn't be fulfilled, I got through to someone who initially seemed annoyed with me for the request but then put me on hold and when they came back on line said it was fine to pick the tickets up from the Studio ticket office. Also, I was told I could not pick up tickets prior to the day. I do not understand why Viator don't have all this sorted out. When I booked the tickets, I should have been told that we are supposed to take the bus from London, but I do not recall this being mentioned. Golden Tours allow customers to pick up tickets from the Studio as a matter of course. Why not Viator? On booking, couldn't Viator make the customer choose where they want to pick up their tickets - in London for the coach or at the studio? Other than this, the tour of the Studio was fabulous. I hope my comments will help refine Viator's ticketing process. Thank you.
I think it should've been 1 more hour. I felt we rushed through the whole thing just so we wouldn't miss the bus. You have to consider breaks and the long long long lines of just waiting everywhere... If we had 1 more hour it would've been perfect!
Exceeded our expectations. Exhibits are interactive and brings the scenes to live for the visitors. Creativity at its best
The tour itself was amazing. However, it would be better to do it on your own. The $120 we spent on this tour was literally 3-times the price if you buy tickets directly from the studio. Your $120 buys your a 1-hour bus ride from (and to) the Evan Evans facility near Victoria station and entry (costs $45 if bought from studio) to the studio. They don't even include the $5 for the audio tour.
We arrived as scheduled to Evan Evans at 10:15 for our 10:30 tour. We left for the studio at 10:45 and arrived to the studio at 11:45. Our ticket to enter the tour was timed for 12:30 so we had to wait around. Went through the gift shop and used the facilities.
The tour itself is amazing if you're a Harry Potter fan. Even if you're not but just like movies, it's fascinating. We finished our tour at 2:30 pm but the Evan Evans bus didn't head back to London until 4:30pm and that ride was to be considerably longer because of traffic. Thankfully, we took a $2 shuttle to the train station. We then transferred to the express train to Euston and we were back in the heart of London by 3pm.
My advice is buy your entry tickets online and take the train there and back. It is quick and much cheaper than this tour. The only thing is you need to book a month or two in advance.
