Pass By: University of Oxford, University Offices 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD England
The University of Oxford is a collegiate research university in Oxford, England. There is evidence of teaching as early as 1096, making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's second-oldest university in continuous operation. It grew rapidly from 1167 when Henry II banned English students from attending the University of Paris. After disputes between students and Oxford townsfolk in 1209, some academics fled north-east to Cambridge where they established what became the University of Cambridge. The two 'ancient universities' are frequently jointly called 'Oxbridge'. The history and influence of the University of Oxford has made it one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

The best day out with the best tour leader Nicklas. Informative..amusing and interesting. Fantastic day out. You won't be disappointed.
very nice tour
the guide Oliver Simmons was the best of the best
very good bus.
I can't remember the name of our tour guide .. I think it was Mark. Our tour guide was extremely friendly, polite, and quite humorous. I really enjoyed our trip! This particular trip did not include tickets to Warwick Castle, or Shakespeare's birthplace. There is another tour that you can book that includes admission to both places, or you can buy tickets on board. Having seen enough castles and famous people's houses, we opted not to purchase admission to either site. We had an excellent time looking at the exterior of the sites and enjoyed our time walking around and exploring the cities surrounding the sites instead.
very good trip enjoyed it very much.
Our tour guide was funny, lovely and her knowledge about history was beyond! It was very nice listening to her talk about those places.
My friend and I only wish we had more time in Oxford, we only did a quik tour of the outsides of some buildings of Oxford university.
Warwick castle is beautiful from the outside, but inside is not really authentic, it's more for kids, as they are a lot of reconstitutions.
Stratford was great we had lunch there, there is more time there to explore a bit if you're not going into Shakespeare's house!
Lovely cafes and shops! Overall a great day out of London!
Fairly good tour, fitting in a lot in one trip. Great commentary on board the bus, friendly tour guide. Warwick castle was nice, quiet on the day, more for kids but there is some stuff to amuse adults note of advice, buy the ticket to see the castle otherwise you will miss out on seeing a fairly nice castle. One complaint was that we rushed through the cotswolds without any stop for a photo, the windows of the bus were so grimy that you could barely see out of them let alone take a photo. Stratford was good skipped the Shakespeare tour and just walked around town a bit, Oxford was really short, small tour noting some famous colleges and buildings and a couple minutes to walk around. Little rushed, but over all a good tour. Thanks.
I could easily skip Oxford as a stop and spent more time at Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle. Good day trip. The staff were very professional and friendly.
The tour was quite rushed and it doesn't actually stop through the Cotswolds like I expected. You just drive through a small section of it and don't really get to see much of it at all.
The tour guide was lovely but for the few hours that you do spend it certain cities, it's not well organised.
Normally a fan of organised day trips but this one was a bit of a letdown for me.
Great tour. Our tour guide was very good and very informative. Would recommend.
I enjoyed visiting the sites at Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. However, I am very disappointed the coach that there was no stop,
only drove through the Cotswolds (I finally found that it has mentioned very subtle on the tour itinerary). I may suggest the tour organiser should delete it as to avoid any misunderstanding. Finally the tour guide spent very long time for each site in Oxford, perhaps she needed to take care of two languages in a tour.
