Modern and traditional riverboats depart from Westminster Pier every 40 minutes at busy times, and hourly during less busy times, from 11am until 3pm in winter and 5pm in summer.
All the vessels include a licensed bar, with light refreshments, and audio commentary. The Sapele and Mercuria have open top decks and climate-controlled interiors. The Sarah Kathleen is a more traditional river-craft, covered with a simple canopy awning for maximum views, and runs only during summer.
You can choose to enjoy a circular cruise from Big Ben to Tower Bridge and back, or hop off at stops along the way. You'll stop at Embankment Pier, Festival Pier, Bankside Pier, and St. Katharine's Pier before the boat turns round and returns non-stop to Westminster.
Along the way, admire sights including the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, the Shard, the Globe Theatre, the Tower of London, and much, much more. Your captain will provide a live audio commentary on key landmarks and London history as you glide along the river.
If you choose not to stop off en route, you'll be back at Westminster Pier an hour after you set off.
