Wonderful tour. The guide was well informed. The group was just the right size so that everyone had ample opportunity to ask questions. The Churchill War Rooms were awe inspiring. Our guide made the modern area of London go back in time with his stories. His energy and knowledge made for a fun walking tour. And then the Churchill War rooms are an amazing step back to WWII
Richard was a y knowledgeable guide. This tour gave a good overview of everything going on in the Westminster area. Good info on both Churchill and other historical facts. The war rooms were enjoyable.
We loved our walking tour in preparation for the Churchill War Rooms. He was so full of knowledge and was able to give us so much interesting information before going to the War Rooms. He was funny and very helpful. We loved this tour!
My husband and I really enjoy WWII history. This was a fantastic tour in and around Westminster and Parliament square. The tour was easy to locate and the guide, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging (we actually had him for two tours!). The War Rooms are an experience all on there own and the benefit of doing the walking tour and admission is you’ll escape what is likely a lengthy queue no matter the time of day. Highly recommended for anyone interested in WWII history, Winston Churchill and even the basis of a lot of history surrounding parliament’s beginnings.
David was an awesome guide. He was very funny, intelligent, and informative. He is an asset to your company. Churchill's war rooms was a must see visit!
Nathan our guide was a fantastic guide full of information- historical and frivolous (but interesting) antidotes.
Very informative. We saw many things we did not expect to see, such as 10 Downing Street. The guide was extremely knowledgeable.
Our guide Gavin did a wonderful job engaging our attention to the area of Westminster. Meeting a genuine east Londoner, his insight from family memory of WW II added tremendously to the experience of Churchill’s underground bunker.
The underground bunker itself is perfectly intact and preserved, transporting you to that part of history .
Discover Westminster’s Second World War sights with a knowledgeable guide and visit the fascinating Churchill War Rooms, an underground network of bunkers that served as the government wartime offices. The 2-hour walking tour includes little-known war tales and tidbits of London history as well as facts about the much-loved maverick leader Sir Winston Churchill. Learn of his life and legacy on an audio tour of the Churchill War Rooms' museum and cabinet rooms. The tour also takes in top London sights such as Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
