Andrew Lazar was our guide. We had a small group of 6. Andrew went way above and beyond while trying to contact 2 of the group who were late arriving at the meeting spot. He went ahead and started the tour after we waited over 20 minutes for them to arrive. They did catch-up shortly after he started and he made sure they got the information they had missed. I really like that he presented the information from the viewpoint of the Fire Company who survived the collapse of the towers. Andrew went at a pace that was easy for everyone and the tour was just the right amount of time. He took us all around the site and into different buildings that gave a great variety of views around the site. The site had special meaning to Andrew as his mother and grandmother worked in buildings affected by the event. The memorial and museum are well presented. A fitting memorial and affirmation of life.
Our guide was knowledgeable including some personal stories. Allowed time for pictures and a restroom break. Gave additional lower Manhattan details. Our your will last with us a lifetime!
Our tour guide was Andrew and he was great! So informative. He was able to take us through the events of that day and it was very emotional. But Andrew really knew his stuff. Thank you and definitely join the tour!
Meaningful tour of many interesting facts. Enjoyed seeing the Oculus and spending time at the memorial pools. Very moving. Thank you to our guide, Andrew.
Our guide Brendan was excellent. We had a four person tour and it was soon worthwhile. Brendan covered all the key events during the tragedy and brought home just how heroically the responders and victims behaved. While we were talking a former commissioner of the NYC fire Department walked up and listened in to Brendan's talk. He liked the story he heard! The museum tour was incredible and again something not to miss.
Absolutely fantastic tour, Andrew our brilliant guide told the story so so well. He truly made this tour the highlight of our first visit to New York and I can’t thank him enough.
