Nick our guide is great, he made you feel at ease in an emotional and moving place. His personal tribute should be admired.
The Memorial, museum and tower are in our opinions tasteful and respectful. If visiting New York, it should be visited at least once in a lifetime.
Very knowledgeable guide and an excellent overview of the site and the construction and memorials. The museum was an excellent presentation of the days events and the loss of so many fellow citizens.
Informative and special in a special place. Great tour with access passes to the museum and the new tower.
We booked our All Access 9/11 Tour for 2pm the afternoon after we went on the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Tour. We were a little worried this may have been too much and too close a time window to accomplish both in the same day, we were wrong to be worried. The combination of these two tours was the highlight of our trip to NYC and thanks to the exceptional tor guides provided for each (Ben for Statue/Ellis Island and Tim for 9/11) the information couldn't have been any better. I had the opportunity to visit Ground Zero in May 2002 while I was attending the FBI National Academy with a group of classmates; this was my first trip back since that time. I was able to take some pictures from the same vantage point as some photos taken in 2002, seeing the changes and sharing those earlier photos with my tour mates was very nice. This tour was my MUST DO for this trip and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting NYC. Tim was very informative, the information he provided about St. Paul's Chapel (starting point of the tour) was great!
My grandson (age 16) was visiting from California for Thanksgiving ..... I booked the all-access 9/11 Ground Zero Tour ... I had done it once before with my adult daughter, and was very impressed.
Once again, I was not disappointed ... our tour guide (Issa) was incredibly good ... he brought the area to life, made it so very interesting ... I would highly recommend this tour ... I just can't say how excellent it was ... definitely worth the money. We learned to much about the area, 9/11 and the Oculus
Plan to spend all day if you do the tour, museum and observatory. Well worth every minute. You will be fascinated with the amount of information, saddened by reliving the events of the day and enlightened by the beauty of the memorial.
Our tour guides, John and Julia were fabulous!
My Tour Guide was wonderful -- Very knowledgeable and had interesting sidelights. He was easy to understand and tried to keep us as warm a possible Sat at 9:30.-11/16. He emphasized that the entire project took every detail into account - not sure I realized that. I would recommend him.
We had a terrific guide - Hal - who was very informative and focused on ensuing we covered all of the key sites. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very windy day, so the fountains were turned off and the Observatory was closed. All of the exhibits were well done and respectful. It is an appropriate Memorial to all who died that day.
This was a 90 minute walking tour led by a lifelong New Yorker who was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The memorial was moving and appropriate. The museum was comprehensive but the observatory was a waste of time.
The tour with John from start to finish gave us a really good insight into what happened that day and since then
This full experience of September 11th sites in Manhattan includes a 90-minute guided walking tour of Ground Zero and the 9/11 Memorial, entry to the 9/11 Museum and One World Observatory. As you're led by a local New Yorker guide with personal connection to the events of 9/11, hear stories of tragedy and heroism and gain a deeper understanding of the attack and aftermath. Select from two departure times when booking.
