This tour was a great way to see many NYC sites in a short time. It helps to know which sites you may want to go back to if the time there was not enough. Tom was a knowledgeable tour guide. Lunch at Adrienne’s Pizza was great. I liked jumping on the subway to get comfortable with that mode of transport. We did this tour our first full day in the city. Perfect for an overview of the NYC sites we visited.

I've always felt that having a guided walk around somewhere new is a good way to get a feel for the place and the general layout and this walk is perfect for that. Our guide, Tom, was a native New Yorker and it showed in his knowledge of and detailed explanation of the areas we were visiting. Although the tour is listed as 6 miles in five hours it really didn't feel like that at all and there were comfort breaks slotted in as well as lunch. After taking this tour the remainder of our stay in New York was so much better as were able to get around the city quite easily knowing how the different areas all slotted together into the jig saw that makes up New York. Thoroughly recommend.

We took this tour this past Monday and loved it. Tom was our guide and showed us all the highlights of the city while walking and viewing them. You get a really good feel for the city. You have time for lunch on your own in the Wall Street area. If you like to walk, this tour is for you especially if this is your first time to NY.

Tour guide Jenn was fantastic, knew what she was talking about. Always made sure the group was together and nobody was left behind. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Jenn, the best tour guide period.

What a fantastic way to start a visit to NYC! The tour stops at many of the must see locations and gets you oriented for the rest of your time in the city. We loved the Staten Island Ferry with it's views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Grand Central Terminal is really breathtaking in its beauty, and the history around Liberty Park was fascinating. Ending the day and the 911 Memorial is both sobering and beautiful. There were many opportunities to use restrooms along the way and multiple lunch spot choices. The pace was very easy and provided many opportunities to chat with the other members of our small group. It was a nice way to meet other people one might not otherwise get to know.
Our tour leader, Tom, was simply awesome! He made our day a fabulous experience with his seemingly endless knowledge of history, He provided many, many fascinating details that would be hard to come by in a tour book. His warm, self-deprecating style made everyone feel comfortable asking questions, and he often supplied extra advice and suggestions about other things to see and do. His love and enthusiasm for NYC and it's long history were readily apparent and easy to catch. We simply had a blast!

Highly recommend this tour. We were concerned as when we were there the weather was -20C and although it was freezing the lovely, knowledgeable guide Sara ensured we went inside different places to keep warm. We learnt alot about the city and went to places we wouldn't have known existed otherwise and got to see all of the famous sights. It is alot of walking but it's flat so wasn't a problem.

Lindsey was amazing. It was a rainy, cold, windy day and she kept us entertained. Just the right amount of talking. Really a great way to see NewYork.

What a perfect way to see these major highlights of New York City. This tour is definitely a must do for first time visitors. I would suggest that you do this tour at the beginning of your trip so that if there is something that you want to go back to to see more of you can. My kids and I enjoyed this tour very much. There is no way that we would have saw this much and learned this much about New York on our own. Great to have a local resident giving information! Definitely recommend!
