This is a great way to gain different perspectives of NYC other than the ones usually from the Empire State building. In fact it is from here that the iconic photo is taken.
With 3 observation decks it offers plenty of room to move and take in the views...especially central park and onwards. Spend some time at the lower levels of Rockefellar Center..You won't be disappointed.

Very cool views. Quick tour you can do and a lot of history to note as well. Friendly staff and modern technology.

A smooth quick ride up to top of the rock gave us the best view of the city and especially the Central Park.
Staff excellent at keeping things organized and lines moving.
A good experience overall

The day we originally booked this for was raining but with the pre-bought ticket, we were able to book a time for another day. This purchase requires you to book a time slot when you get to NYC so it's not the actual ticket that lets you walk in whenever you'd like. If you're an early bird and you're hoping to get pictures without too many people around, I recommend going at opening (8am). We made it and were able to get fabulous shots!

This was our first trip to New York and The Top of the Rock was ideal to see the famous landmarks and just to get the sheer size of the city. Not tiring as lifts take you to where you need to be. Ticketed so that it’s not overly busy and you can view everything at leisure. Would definitely recommend it.

On the longest day of the year, late in the afternoon the rainclouds finally cleared and my daughter and 8-year-old grandson headed up to the Top of the Rock, just before sunset,. It was definitely everything that was promised. They visited all 3 decks, stayed as people came and went, took LOTS of photos, identified all the buildings as advertised, and came down a couple of hours later really glad they had chosen THAT tall building to climb up in.

Great view from the rock. We could see for miles. The lady that helped me with our tickets was very kind. From there, it went downhill. There needs to be more signs for direction and patient people to help and not yell as you.
