What a magical night seeing the lights of Paris from the River Seine. We booked the Privilege Service package, guaranteeing a window table for two and we were not disappointed. The check-in experience was seamless and our waiter was attentive throughout the two-hour cruise. We both had the duck foie gras for starters and it was delicious. A glass of champagne once seated, plus two bottles of wine to accompany our meal, and a great French singer in the background, made for a memorable night.
It was a great boat ride. Beautiful setting and the food and wine was great. I would definitely recommend this.
Magical ride. The hospitality and the service were excellent. The food, which we thought would be mediocre, turned out to be fantastic. The atmosphere was incredible. Live music from the boat staff reminded us of being in a night club. We saw the incredible twinkling lights of the Eiffel tower. Couldn't have been happier with the experiences. The dinner really was "6 course" meal
The dinner cruise was delicious and the view from the boat was spectacular. I wanted to say thank you so much for staff for helping us by rescheduling our dinner to a different date and time due to train delay.
We had superb service, sat by the window and had perfect views of all the sites. Good and wine was fantastic. Great Experience.
From checking in , greeted and seated...servers and entertainment lovely!
Dinner was delicious and served promptly.... champagne flowed
Thank you !
We enjoyed the scenic dinner river cruise....lots to see and very relaxing. We did this dinner tour on our last eve in Paris. Food was average, but still think this is a must do - due to very scenic river views.
The boarding process was a nice change, since it had its own check in and seating area before getting on to the boat. Not that many seats for everyone, but a couple got up to move and we were able to rest our weary feet. We boarded and received a glass of champagne and some bread from the start. After that, each dish was brought out in a somewhat timely manner, with the exception of the main course--we seemed to wait a long time for it. Service was excellent, with one big exception. After having exhausted our wine (included with dinner), I saw that a bottle of champagne was still in our ice bucket next to our table, so I poured myself and my partner a small half of glass in our glasses. Out of the blue, an older gentleman comes out of nowhere and proceeds to ask in a really accusatory tone----Did you buy that bottle of champagne? I said 'No' and he said---you will need to be charged for that. I said--- I'm sorry, I didn't know (since we had already consumed the other 2 bottles that had been in there), I can certainly pay for the extra. And then my partner said---well--i hope you don't charge us for 2 glasses, since we only had half of one. They charged us $13 euros which i guess is the price of one glass.
This exchange really soured my experience, given that it was unnecessary for him to be so rude about the whole situation. As if were trying to steal something as petty as half a glass of champagne, especially since we paid close to $400 for this cruise. And on top of that we had 2 vodka martinis at the start of our meal--which were not a 'true vodka martini' in the American sense--not sure what we're actually drinking and we paid $13 euros each for those.
I don't always write reviews for my experiences, but this situation really bothered me. This older gentlemen needs to be trained on how to be nice to people and not accusatory about something so petty. The waiter for our table was great and apologized for his behavior.
It's terrible that I will remember this rudeness over the all the other things i experienced on the cruise. I was going to buy a picture, but at this point, I didn't want to hand over any more money than I already had, considering the way we were treated.
The old saying holds true---one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.
I was expecting much better food and wine for price we paid, $191.00 pp. Would be nice if they cleaned inside of window as well and if waiter wore deodorant. The view at window was lovely and waiter very nice.
We did the 6.15pm cruise but we were very disappointed , food was not great and they mixed up our order. It was also very rushed , we had all 3 courses within 30 mins so we felt they wanted us in and out . Would not recommend this cruise , best to do a cruise on its own without dinner.
