Did two day pass and it works very well. Only suggestion is to have a printout of the stops so we could have picked up the bus at a much closer location.
Excellent way to go around Paris and learn more about France’s rich history. Very convenience. Suggest you get the two-day pass.
We loved the hop on hop off your on Paris. The bus stops at every major tourist attraction. There are many buses so you never wait long for a bus. The live tour guide was very informative and funny b
You get exactly what is described in the attraction. You can go to any of the attractions or pickup points, I believe there are several buses at once going around for the tour. We met them later in the day, because we had other activities planned earlier. They picked us up from the Eiffel Tower, and we stayed on until far into a different part of the city. The best view is on top of the bus but it was cold by the time we got up there. I give 4 stars and not 5 because there isnt a live tourguide, its a recorded audio, albeit a good one.
Given the transit strike the on/off bus was a great alternative to get around the city and see all the major attractions.
this was a very good alternative instead of taking the bus or metro, except that in some landmarks you have to walk a little. but overall is a good way to view the main landmarks and to learn more about their history
Excellent hop on hop off, lot of traffic so slow at times , good commentary by head phones. Seats cold for sitting long time.
This was a good way to see Paris, and it was nice to be able to hop off, enjoy Paris, and hop back on. I only rated this a 3 because it was very difficult to find the stop where we got on the bus for the first time by the Louvre. There was no sign indicating that this was one of the stops, and it was a challenge for even my travel savvy daughter to find where we could get on the bus.
Great for part of the tour - teens loved it and informative too, but on the second day the audio headphones didn't work. Also, hard to find the bus tour stops - not marked very well. There should be a plan sent by mail when tickets are booked perhaps?
It was bad enough that we were only able to do this for half a day due to a flight cancellation, but worse, it was so hard to find the starting and drop off points. There are different companies that run a bus tour and we had to ask around to find out where the big bus started. We got off near the Louvre, walked around and pretty much got lost trying to locate the next pick up point. I wish they would find a way to male this more distinct. Otherwise the actual bus tour itself was nice and the on board audio guide was informative.
Discover the sights of Paris on a Big Bus hop-on hop-off tour! Aboard an open-top, double-decker bus, admire panoramic views of top Paris attractions including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Moulin Rouge and more, all while listening to audio commentary. Follow two easy routes, and hop on and off at any of the 15 stops around town. To see even more of Paris, you have the option to pair your 1-day or 2-day sightseeing pass with a Seine River cruise. If you have selected the option which allows entrance to the Louvre Museum, hop off on Stop 4 or 5 (see itinerary below) to visit one of the world's largest art museum thanks to your skip-the-line ticket. Enjoy the famous Louvre — home to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and many other unmissable artworks.
