My wife and I spent a week in Paris. We took the Day Trip to London. We had a phenomenal day. We took the river cruise down the Thames, ate lunch at Westminister grill, did the Hop on and Off bus seeing all the sights and finished off a great day with afternoon tea. The Viator staff was difficult to find upon departure and we never did find the staff when we arrived in London. We were a bit lost but figured it out. We had a two hour delay returning to Paris due to a death on the tracks. Very sad! We loved this experience and highly recommend it. Buckingham Palace was one of our favorite sights.

When we arrived at the train station, we met up with 2 other confused couples looking for our meeting spot and person to meet. He finally arrived late, hushing us that it would all work out. Anyway, you are given vouchers in an envelope and directed to a train. You are then met at the train station and instructed to meet back at that exact spot at a certain time, to not miss the train. That is understandable. There was not enough time to use all the vouchers. We opted for the Big Bus Tour of London, but with traffic it took almost two hours. I do not think that this tour was worth the money.

London, itself, was amazing. The Eurostar was great. The trip however was difficult. It was very hard to find the person we were meeting for our tickets at the Paris Gere du Nord. No meeting place was given. The train station is huge. We called Paris City Vision several times to get a message that there were a high number of calls and to call later. We honestly thought we would miss the train. As it turned out, the person we were meeting was late, there were hundreds of passengers trying to get thru 2 sets of security so we missed the train anyway. So we lost extra time in London. thru no fault of anybody, there was the London marathon going on the day we went, so many roads were blocked off and kept us from seeing some things we wanted to see, The bus map we were given in London did not give specific places to catch the bus again so we were left to try to figure that out ourselves. With our day cut short, there was no time to take our ride on the Thames River. All in all, it was a taste of London and for that we were grateful. We found, however, it was not worth the money spent.

We went with a family of four. We had soent a week in Paris and thought this would make a great day trip (having done a hop on /hop off tour during our honeymoon en route to Africa). The train was no issue, however, despite showing up at 0725 ( 0730 listed on ticket(, the representative told us we were the last ones and should have been an hour early for the train! This seemed silly that they would not have listed 0715 then....train was no issue. Upon arriving in London, we had a representative meet us, but he was not the most helpful . We got off the stop, Tower of London and we're able to get on the ferry fine. After that we boarded one more time and were able to go to Trafalgar Square. It all went downhill then when we realized that there was really only the one bus and few locations to catch the bus to get us pointed to the station. We walked over 1.5 miles to get us to stop 45 which should have been the right bus and after waiting 20 minutes, another color came by and was not going to the station. We then had to catch a cab. To do over, I would buy Eurostar ahead of time and get a Big Bus tour. We did not get our money's worth!

Trip was fine but I had to pay 23pounds for the entrance of Westminster Abbey while the ticket says it's included.

This can be planned on your own at over 1/2 the cost. The guide met us at the Eurostar station, gave us our tickets, and left. We did everything else on our own. There was a guide that met us in London, but all he did was show us where the hop on hop off bus was. It was a great experience, but not worth the money for this tour guide.

Unfortunately, we had problems getting to the meeting site. We tried calling Paris City Vision for help but just got a recording saying everyone was busy and we should call back later. We sent an email and never received a response. Poor customer service.
