During the summer months (April – Oct), when it doesn’t get dark until later, you’ll start with a Seine cruise and end with an illuminations tour. You’ll follow the reverse itinerary in the winter months (Nov – March). Below are sample summer itineraries. Choose a standard or small-group tour.
Seine Cruise and Standard Tour by CoachAfter pickup from the central Paris meeting point, you’ll be taken to the Bateaux Parisiens boarding point for your 1-hour narrated cruise along the Seine. Sit back and admire the waterfront sights including the Eiffel Tower and Il de la Cité, where you’ll see Notre Dame and the Conciergerie.
Back at the dock, you’ll be escorted to a coach for your 1.5-hour illuminations tour. Learn about the history of Paris’ most famous monuments as you ride through the glittering city past the sights you saw on the Seine plus the Opéra, Rue de Rivoli, the Louvre, Les Invalides, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, Pont Neuf, St-Germain-des-Près, the Champs-Elysées, l’Arc de Triomphe and more.
You can then choose to be dropped off at the central meeting point or the Opéra area, filled with great restaurants and bars to continue your night out in Paris.
Seine Cruise and Small-Group Tour by Minivan You’ll be picked up from your central Paris hotel and taken to the Bateaux Parisiens boarding point, where you and your group will join others on a sightseeing boat to enjoy a 1-hour narrated cruise.
Follow with a city illuminations tour by 8-passenger minivan, ensuring a more personalized and intimate experience. Starting at Place Vendome, admire Paris’ beautifully illuminated historical monuments, museums, boulevards and neighborhoods as you ride to the Opéra, Rue de Rivoli, the Louvre, Hôtel de Ville, Notre Dame, Place de la Concorde and the Grand Palais and Petit Palais.
Cross Pont Neuf to St-Germain-des-Près and then venture down the Champs-Elysées to l’Arc de Triomphe, looping back to Trocadéro and the glittering Eiffel Tower, then to Les Invalides, Madeleine Church and Place Pigalle. At the end of your tour, you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

Absolutely Brilliant. A must see view of Paris. Totally different from any other views.
We did this our first night in Paris, and we really enjoyed the river, the breeze, the sunset, and seeing Parisians and tourists out enjoying the evening all along the river. It was a great way to get an overview of the center city at the start of our stay.
We met the tour at the dock instead of at the tour office; it was very hard to find the right place to meet the tour. The instructions were not specific enough about where to meet and what to look for. That was the only problem we experienced.
So pretty! The Eiffel Tower lit up was wonderful and the twilight along the whole cruise was beautiful. I cannot say enough about our guide Jean and I owe him a thank you note for delivering my 83-yr-old mother and I to our hotel at the end.
Had a nice evening along the Seine River seeing Paris illuminated in the night. Would recommend this for an evening out in Paris.
If you are in Paris for the first time and your in mood for a little romance , I would highly recommend this
Have been to Paris numerous times, but this was the first time experiencing Paris from the river. Totally different perspective!
Paris CityVision who hosted the cruise and bus night tour were fantastic in guiding us to tne meeting point. The activity itself was ok: as neither the bus tour or river cruise were fully narrated. We took the tour on our second day in Paris and it was a good way to get oriented to the city. The river cruise was very nice but the bus tour was primarily in the downtown core and with the Paris traffic stop and go.
I was very disappointed with this excursion. Part of the issue had to do with the fact that it rained. With the rain, we were unable to sit on the top of the boat, so viewing from inside the boat was limited. They eventually did allow us to stand along the rail of the bottom of the boat, but except for the Eiffel tower, there really was nothing of interest to view. It was nice though, that they timed the trip with the Eiffel tower lighting up. The commentary that went along with the trip was awful and we gave up on that after 5 minutes. I was also disappointed with the private tour. Since it was raining we only stopped at a few of the attractions and I was unable to see any better from inside the mini van then I would have from a bus and the price was twice as much. I would recommend doing the night time attraction on your own. You can uber for much less and you can take as much time as needed to photograph the attractions. You would need to uber to Notre Dame and to the Louvre. From the Louvre you can photograph the Institute of France, Louvre, Place de la Concorde, Ferris Wheel, Eiffel Tower, and Arch de Triomphe. You may want to uber closer to the Arc de Triomphe if your camera doesn't have a good lens. I would skip the Seine River cruise altogether.
Made a mistake booking this tour on the last minute. I was under the impression that there was a hotel pick-up included because they asked for my hotel address after paying online, which I gladly entered. Turns out, our specific tour doesnt have a hotel pick-up and we were waiting for nothing. I called the local supplier, Pars City Vision number supplied on the voucher more than 3 times to confirm the pickup 3 hours before the tour, but only got an all our lines are busy response. Anyway, it was late, and we knew we wont make it so my wife and I ended up just walking to Eiffel Tower to see it light up that night. Cant really recommend this tour, can I?
It’s no wonder they call it the City of Lights — Paris is especially enchanting in the evening. On this illuminations tour, admire top Paris attractions from two perspectives, starting with a lamp-lit cruise along the Seine past the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Then take a nighttime city tour to see the Champs-Elysées, l’Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, Les Invalides, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais, Rue de Rivoli and much more (itinerary is reversed in the winter). Choose a standard coach tour or small-group minivan tour for a more personalized experience.
