Meet your local guide next to the Eiffel Tower for a brief and fascinating introduction that will give you the keys to enjoy Paris' most famous tower to the fullest. Your guide will then take you straight to the second level, bypassing the waiting lines on the ground.
On the second level, you will enjoy anecdotes about the Eiffel Tower and its unique history. You will also learn more about the City of Light, and see many of its highlights from above, including Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, and Les Invalides.
At the end of your guided tour, you will be free to continue exploring the Eiffel Tower on your own and ascend to the summit through a second elevator where even more breathtaking views await. Sip a glass of bubbly from the Champagne bar (own expense) while you admire Paris glittering below.
On your way down, be sure to stop at the first level and walk on new glass floor some 200 dizzying feet above the ground.

Local guide was charming easy way to do the one thing you need to do in Paris. Did this at night and was truly inspiring see Paris go from dusk to night. The lights on the tower are breathtaking. Don't wait to book - it's on everyone's itinerary.
If you want to see the Eiffel Tower you must take this tour as it skips the queues and takes you to the top of the tower. Our tour guide was a very funny and cool French girl whose name I have forgotten! Without a tour like this you will be stuck in the queues for ages
Our tour guide was excellent. She was very informative and fun. The meeting spot was easy to find and was away from the crowds of the Eiffel Tower. The tour tickets are well worth the price as you avoid having to wait in the long lines at the Eiffel Tower. The Summit Access is amazing and a must do!
Very good, we met a little off the path, but worth the money.
So... worth.. the... money! We booked the first tour of the day, highly recommend that if you want to avoid the crowds. We bypassed a line that had already formed before the opening of the tower that the signs and guide said would be a 2-3 hour wait. We were on the first elevator to the top and had the whole viewing platform to ourselves with a small group from the elevator for about 20 minutes before the main line crowds started coming in.
This was amazing not to wait in long lines.
This worked fine it really was just a way of avoiding the very long general public line and getting to use the shorter line for tour groups. There's still a line, but the wait was more like 10 minutes instead of what looked to be 40-60 minutes for the regular line. Our guide didn't really do a tour she just walked us in, got us into the right line, and waited with us until we got to the first tier from which you can get to the higher levels on your own. She answered questions people had and was super nice.
Very difficult to find the meeting spot which was a small corner shop a couple of streets away from the Eiffel Tower, quite stressful and we nearly missed the tour. However once we did find the group we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely worth pre-booking!
The tour guide didn't quite explain the procedure so we lost the group during a break and ended up going by ourselves on the 2nd elevator. Basically, we missed out on any benefit of a tour guide. We did waste some time looking for the group, so it took us longer and we waited in a substantial line for the second elevator.
We were not able to go to the summit of the Eiffel Tower as it was closed the day we were there. There was some kind of mechanical problems. Just requested partial reimbursement for our tour and hoping to hear back from Viator. Our tour guide was a young man who was not able to keep our tour together once he let us know that the summit was closed. A few of us stuck with him on the second level, and he did walk around the with us, giving us information on some of the landmarks that we could see. Although he was very nice, he did not seem as experienced as other guides we had on our trip. We were at the Eiffel Tower at the end of June and it was extremely crowded. They packed us into the elevator to go to the second level where it was a little less crowded and we were able to enjoy the views. I would recommend not going to Paris in the height of the tourist season, especially if you don't like huge crowds and hot weather. We enjoyed our trip, though, and took an unplanned boat tour after visiting the Eiffel Tower, which was very nice.
