Our Skip the line pass was a must! It saved us over 90m minutes in line. Easy to use, pick up your ticket and audio guide at the shop (which is close to the Louvre) and head right into the museum!
The lines to get a ticket to the Louvre are painfully long. I would highly recommend this ticket if you plan to visit the Louvre.
Definitely book skip the line tickets. Half the length as no ticket holders.
Audioswt not very helpful and not really required. You can work you way around the Louvre easily.
The skip the line ticket was perfect for our Louvre visit. We saved an enormous amount of time waiting and used it to visit the fascinating exhibit about the history of the Louvre!
A little disappointing. Had a hard time finding the place to pick up the tickets. They just gave us the whispers and a map.and sent us on our way.
Having the tickets ahead of time was great: however the map of the museum was hard to follow and there were only a very, very few descriptions of artwork available on the device provided.
Firstly this office is not the easiest to find we did not come from that side of the museum and only had a map quest printed map to follow. A few of the exhibits were closed and we were not told. We walked about trying to locate them, and finally had to ask a museum guide for help to get us back on track. The company could have had a reference sheet printed in advance to distribute. We were not pleased with this experience, just frustrating trying to follow this audio guide.
The Louvre is huge. The map provided at Paris City Tours was only of the most famous exhibits. However, we were not informed that more detailed maps showing the full layout of the museum were available at the museum information desk.
A more detailed explanation would have been greatly appreciated.
Save your time and money - I paid 3 times the value of the Louvre admissions ticket with the sole intention of skipping the line. What they don't tell you is the line at the nearby tour shop that issues the Lourve ticket is almost as bad. Plus, they make you WAIT a SECOND time to return the audio guide hardware. Absolutely useless!
unclear instructions meant we spent two hours trying to sort out our entry to the louvre. never again!
