I was fortunate to have Violet as a guide through the Louve, because she was an absolutely pleasure from beginning to end. She was extremely well prepared and informed, entertaining, and she paid attention to every detail to make certain the group could hear her. We all marveled at how professional Violet was! I highly recommend this tour with Violet.
Anne, our guide, was extremely detailed and compassionate in sharing her knowledge of the art in the Louvre Museum.
We entered the museum via walking through the moat area. We were introduced to numerous statues. Anne taught us about various style of sculpting and engaged us to provide input on the style. She had us view a statue by walking around it...getting a 360
We viewed important paintings. The grand finale was viewing Mona Lisa.
Anne was attentive through the tour to verify all tour members were present as the museum was crowded. She worked hard to find the best viewing area
Our tour was fantastic - lead by our guide Inna who was extremely knowledgeable and answered any and all questions we had during our tour. Inna was a great guide! We would highly recommend Inna and this tour........Inna brought us to all the important works of art as we did not have a lot of time.........a must do!
Again, I felt sorry for the people that waited in a long line. The Louvre is not easy to navigate around, especially if your not there to see it all! Our guide was fantastic. The only negative I have was the meeting place. I stopped at three places before I found it!
Our guide Julia was excellent and knowledgable. She gave us enough information regarding the pieces we saw to be engaging and informative but definitely not boring. There was time to explore the Louvre on your own after the tour. Only down side was that the headsets sometimes cut out so it was best to stay close to Julia to hear everything.
Fabritza (Fab) was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and she moved us through all of the musts at the Louvre. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide....thank you so much from us Canadians.
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. We were only in Paris for a short amount of time so knew we would not be able to spend hours on end at the Louvre. This tour hit all the highlights they say you should see plus after the tour you can wander by yourself to see other art that wasn't on the tour. Be warned though, the lines to see the Mona Lisa are long if you are part of a tour or not (the advantage to the tour is you get to ask questions and get information you might not otherwise hear). Our tour guide was wonderful, she was very informative and answered everyone's questions.
Wonderful 3 hour tour. Violet had lots of great information. Definitely worth the money not to stand in line. We did spend a little longer on our own, but saw what we wanted to see on the tour.
Our tour guide, John, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the art we saw and history of the Louvre. I'm giving this an excellent rating because of him. While the Louvre is an impressive museum, the art it houses isn't what I enjoy. As it was my first time in Paris, I had to come here, but I wouldn't do it again. There are better museums in the city, for sure.
Enjoyable tour of the louvre museum. The Mona Lisa display was quite good even after the long wait. really enjoyed the museum seems to be well set out. Our guide was very knowledgeable but a little hard to understand being from Jordan.
