Begin with the Ancient Greek Parthenon; then gaze at the graceful Venus de Milo. Admire one of the Louvre's most celebrated sculptures, Winged Victory of Samothrace. Continue on to the Apollo Gallery that houses the ornate royal crowns of Napoleon and King Louis XV.

Michelangelo’s masterpieces await you in the Italian Renaissance wing, and you will discover firsthand what makes Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa the most enigmatic portrait of all time.
The Louvre hosts over 35,000 pieces of artwork spanning over 60,000 square meters of exhibition space. This skip-the-line, small-group tour will lead you comfortably through the galleries so you can explore all of the masterpieces without the hassle of waiting in long lines.
Do you want to see the Louvre at night?
Select the 6:30pm tour (on Wednesdays or Fridays) to take the guided tour in the evening – an opportunity available for a strictly limited season. There is a certain magic about visiting the Louvre in the evening. The corridors are quiet, the artwork is mysterious in low light and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The museum’s exterior is also breathtaking. Lit from below, the old palace appears contemporary, the dazzling Louvre pyramid reflecting in the pond and lending it an air of glamour. Apart from the late starting time, this evening tour is exactly the same as the other half-day tours. By the time the visit is over, it will be dark out and you can see the Louvre and Pyramid lit up.
Tour departs near the Arc du Carrousel, Paris

As described, well worth while especially on busy days. Good information on Museum and art works. the Louvre is an amazing place for sure.
Outstanding! Our guide was not only very knowledgeable, but fun to listen to. She provided theories, and anecdotes for the amazing pieces we saw. We avoided very long lines and she knew where the "secret" bathrooms were along the way.
This was our first visit to the Louvre. The museum is overwhelming! I can’t imagine doing it without a guide! Our guide was incredible! She has a love and appreciation for art which made the tour both interesting and educational!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
I highly recommend this guided tour. They hit all the high points giving you more detail and making the museum that much better! The size of the museum can be intimidating to a tourist but this tour ensures you don’t miss anything and meets you outside to get you on the right track from the start
very informative tour, have been to the Louvre previously with the audio option on my own. Voilet gave us so much more, we loved it
The tour was perfect, very informative. The tour guide, Z was the best! He was very professional, knowledgeable and bonded with the group. I highly recommend his tour.
Very enjoyable tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Time went by quickly. Our grandson wants to come sometime, so a possibility of another tour in the future.
My reservation was for a 6:30 pm museum entrance. I arrived at the meeting location outside well before the scheduled time, and it was disorganized and a little chaotic. we didn't get into the museum until about 7 pm, but that was the only glitch. Once we got in the museum, the tour guide was excellent, and took us through the exhibitions with expert commentary and descriptions. As I expected, big crowd around Mona Lisa, but patience pays off here. Best part, since we started late, out guide led us through Napoleon's apartments, almost solo, giving us a few minutes alone in the exhibit...that was worth it. Saw many museum highlights, but didn't scratch the surface of this magnificent place. My suggestion, do a tour earlier in the day, then spend the evening exploring on your own until the museum closes at 9:30.
We really enjoyed this tour. It was a bit unorganized prior to going on the tour. We had to meet outside in the dark and the person that was checking people in had a list, which was hard to see in the dark. Overall, the tour was great and the tour guide was very good.
This would have been much better if it was a small group as advertised, rather than 22 trailing through dense crowds and frequently having no idea what the guide was talking about. Add to that intermittent headset function and a guide who should know if you have to keep saying “I’m only joking” you should stop making those ‘jokes’. However as far as we could tell he was knowledgeable.
