Our guide Vincent was so informative and friendly. We learned so much about the bubbly we enjoy drinking! Can’t wait to go back there and stay on the “Avenue of Campagne”. Money well spent!
This tour was amazing! Victor was our guide for the day. He was so much fun and took excellent care of us.
We visited 3 champagne houses, had a wonderful lunch in Epernay. Not only did we sip great champagne, we learned a great deal about growing grapes and the passion of making fine champagne!
Great trip, driver/guide was helpful, choice of wineries was great! will recommend highly
Tour guide Victot was magnificient!! The tour was more than expected! We were a group,od 6, with champagne tastings at 3 houses. Lunch was at a traditional French restaurant with nonEnglish speaking staff. The food was abundant and excellent . This is a HIGHLY recommended tour!
Excellent trip with an informative guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in the history, art and enjoyment of champagne.
Knowledgeable, pleasant guide, immaculate transportation, wonderful and delicious luncheon. We have been on many winery tours, and this was one of the best.
We liked our tour guide Victor. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable on the region. The car that we were transported in was new and clean. The day went very well and we had a nice time. We just aren't sure why we skipped one of the Champagne producers we only visited Moet and Chandon and Dom Caudron...so 2 producers not three. And for lunch we had a delicious 3-course meal at a restaurant best lunch of the 3 Viator day trips that we did, however it seems to have missed 1 advertised course. My husband and I enjoyed our day in the Champagne region, but the actual itinerary did deviate somewhat from what was advertised.
We had big expectations for this tour. We are not huge champagne drinkers but we wanted to experience champagne in France. The first place we visited was wonderful. The experience was great. However, the rest of the day was not so good. Our tour guide was not very informative. We had lunch at a nice restaurant however, the menu was only in French so I expected our tour guide to assist us in translating. He dropped us off and the. We didn’t see him again until time of pick. One of the major champagne places we were suppose to go to was closed that day (Moët). But no one told us. We would have appreciated a heads up considering the price. Very disappointed.
The actual trip was very good with a visit to 3 Winery's and smooth pick up and drop off a the hotel. The issue we had was getting information prior to the trip and getting clarity and confirmation on the various changes that had to be made due to Moet being closed during this time.
This tour will allow you to get acquainted with the region of Champagne, and try the most famous and wonderful drink which reflects the main traditions of France. Get to see different Champagne producers, taste seven different types of champagne and enjoy an exquisite 3-course lunch at a vineyard.
