Truely amazing experience. The wait for the magic was long and freezing cold but it was all worthwhile at the end of the day. It is a must experience if visiting Iceland.!

We initially signed up for a Friday night tour to see the Northern Lights. Due to cloudy weather the tour was postponed to Saturday. The agency did a great job moving us to a new day without issue. Saturday evening the tour guide was warm and very informative even sharing tales of Icelandic heritage. I felt more like a friend was showing me the sights!!! He stayed with us outside moving among the pockets of tourists sharing more information. Loved the tips for setting my camera and downloading an app for my iPhone to pick up the lights. Thanks!

Pick up was on time, very informative guide. We were very lucky to see the lights our 1st night out! Our original tour was cancelled due to weather and frankly I was good with that as we had just arrived that morning and hadn't slept. We re-booked Wednesday afternoon around 2 via email and they responded with in 30 minutes saying no problem see you tonight. So being able to rebook for the same day of event was great. I was worried they wouldn't be able to take us on short notice but they sure did!The bus was warm and comfortable.Within 5 minutes of arrival tge lights started their magnificent show!

For value for money this cannot be beaten, I booked this tour for the first night I was in Iceland knowing fully that it was going to be difficult to find the lights, the guides offer advice on how to take pictures in the low light which can be very useful if you do not know what you are doing. Do not go expecting to drive to lots of locations in one night, the tour takes you away from the city to a single location where you will stay the night. The first day I didn't see anything, so they honoured their come back any day policy and I rebooked by email the next morning to go the day after, we saw very faint lights the second night and the guide Kindly said we can rebook as the day after would be better, so again I did and finally on the third night I got the full blown lights albeit for 10 minutes but trust me that will be all you need!

We stayed longer and were able to see the lights for about 20 min, pretty amazing. Just read online and be aware and not have expectations that what you witness with bare eyes will match the photos you see online, there is a big difference so do not be disappointed. But if you are lucky like us you will still be able to see different colors and it is a once in a lifetime experience for may of us so really worth trying it.

Had to rearrange the trip as lights not active first time. Luckily saw some activity second time so was worth it. Reykjavík excursions were good and reliable with hotel pick ups and nice talkative guides. Thank you!

Tour was very disappointing ! Do not waste your time or money on this one! If I could give it zero stars I would! The tour started out late and there was mass confusion boarding the bus. The tour guide was very cold and unfriendly and did not create a warm atmosphere. She was difficult to understand. We saw very few Northern Lights and the tour returned very late and in my honest opinion was a total waste. My other tours in Iceland were on GrayLine or BusTravel which are far superior companies, Reykjavik Excursions was not as well run as the other companies I mentioned!
