Description:

Gear up for your full-day Yosemite adventure with early morning pickup from San Francisco. Relax aboard your luxury bio-fueled mini-coach across the Bay Bridge, offering great views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

Making your way across the Central Valley — one of the largest agricultural regions in the United States — you'll have a 10-minute stop at a street-side fruit stand for a chance to purchase some fresh local nuts or fruit, and an option to pick up picnic supplies for lunch. Continue through the cattle and horse ranch lands of the Sierra Nevada foothills and Gold Country — the heartland of the California Gold Rush of 1849.

After a 4-hour drive, you'll arrive at Yosemite National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, massive sequoia trees and biological diversity. Start your visit with a 1.5-hour driving tour through the park’s main attraction, Yosemite Valley, a glacial valley full of amazing rock formations and waterfalls. As you're in a small group, you’ll enjoy multiple photo stops for that perfect iconic picture!

Admire famous Half Dome, depicted in famous photographs by Ansel Adams, and watch rock climbers scale El Capitan's 3,000-foot (914-meter) sheer granite rock face. Enjoy incredible vistas from the Tunnel View overlook, and end your in-coach tour near the base of Yosemite Falls, the tallest waterfall in North America.

You will have three hours to explore Yosemite Valley at your leisure. Rent a bike and pick a trailhead for an epic cycle around the valley, or embark on foot on one of the many hiking loops. For less active folks, check out the visitor’s center, the Ansel Adams Gallery and the Ahwahnee Hotel for unique insights in the park’s history, legacy and beauty.

Re-group in the late afternoon for the journey back to San Francisco, stopping for a short break en route. Approaching the city in the evening, capture a stunning downtown skyline view from the Bay Bridge before arriving back at your hotel.

The tour was nice, plenty of breaks for bathroom and food. Photo opportunities were nice. My mistake was being unaware that the water falls dry up by September. That was disappointing but certainly not the fault of the company or guide.

Our driver and tour guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable about the area and also very patient with a couple of seniors! Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

We went on this trip with incredible adventures and incredible is definitely a word I would use to describe it. Jill our tour guide was super, giving us so much info en route to the park aswell as being able to answer all our questions (her playlist was also brilliant) It was my 2nd visit to yosemite and I loved it even more this time!!!

This was a long day, but worth it. The guide was great, went out of her way to accommodate people on the tour. The park was fabulous.

we had 4 hours to enjoy the park by ourselves. I would suggest not stopping twice to get food to spend that time at the park.

An afternoon in Yosemite is well worth the travel time. Beautiful scenery. Good schedule of rest stops. Good information from our guide. Time to visit Yosemite falls.
Interesting videos on board about the climbers who challenged El Capitan.

Its a long journey in a day but it was spectacularly beautiful. More information along the journey from the guide would have been nice as we knew little about California. Stop offs were good and welcome. We may never get another chance to see a national park so we were delighted we didnt let journey time put us off.

Very enjoyable tour to Yosemite National Park. The only negative aspect is that you spend almost 2/3 of the trip traveling to and from the park. Once there you have plenty of time to see the sights of Yosemite Valley like Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and El Capitan. The tour guide/driver was very friendly.

Dont have a good tour guide.
Van had a flat tire . Back up transportation took several hours to arrive. The tour is not at all exciting. We were just drop off certain area to take pictures then drop off at the visitor center to roam around ourselves. Boring trip and waste of money. Not a guided tour at all.

it started with a small bus with 20 people off we go to yosemite, to our surprise a/c does not work on a 90 degree day, 4 hours to the park with one stop, all the tours we have been on the company supplied water and or snacks, not this company NOTHING......
the ride home was the worst trip i have ever taken 90 degrees 20 people 4 hours no opening windows and the bus driver the worst i have ever encountered heavy footed square corners no consideration to her passengers, still no water. one stop for dinner you have to find yourself and 30mins to do so. very poor form in my opinion if i could find a Cab 2hrs out of SFS i would have got off tour
