Hear the significance of Singapore's national dish, Chicken Rice, a favorite by famed chefs from the world over. Learn how to prepare Chilli Crab Sauce, used for the famous Chilli Crab served all across Singapore, and lastly, how to make Ondeh Ondeh, a traditional Southeast Asian rice cake dessert filled with liquid palm sugar and coated in grated coconut - a tasty end to any meal!

Today's class features an interactive and informative lesson, recipes for you to take home, and tastings of everything prepared during class. Actively participate and practice each step of the cooking process and bring home valuable tips on how to replicate the new dishes at home.

Description:

Cooking class and demo. Chef will demonstrate and share with passengers the technique of making succulent and tender chicken. For Chilli crab sauce, Chef will teach the passengers the secret in the making of the yummy and famous sauce which you will enjoy over a fresh salad.

For ondeh ondeh, passengers will make from scratch these delicious soft and chewy sweet potato balls filled with gula melaka and covered with dessicated coconut.

We really enjoyed learning to make Hainanese Chicken Rice. It's our favourite Singaporean dish and the class showed us every step and we were able to take the recipe away ready to make for family and friends. The instructor had great energy and the school was located in a lovely private venue with great city views. Great value for money!
