This tour with Grand tours and the driver, Orieol was great.
The driver took us to places we want to see and was very patient with us.
He has lots of sense of humor and kind of entertained us as well.
Excellent day tour of Tokyo. Tour guide was most helpful and flexible and tailored our day to suit us. at teh end of the day he dropped us at the Mori Digitial Art Museum quite late and waited to hear from us that we were able to get in before leaving us for the day. He kept in touch with us and followed up afterwards too. Excellent value for money for the 4 of us.
This was the most professional tour we have been on and we had never expected such a relaxing and personable experience with the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Customized slightly with a drive through the Yanaka district and an amazing recommendation for lunch at Tsukiji fish market. Fantastic day in an enormous city.
At the last minute we decided to hire a private driver and we were so glad we're did! Guy was prompt, professional and very personable. He had an itinerary planned for us but happily changed things when we suggested a stop. It made our day through Tokyo so much easier and enjoyable! I will definitely use Tokyo Private Chauffeur again!
Excellent tour. Our guide, Daniel, text us a few days ahead of the tour to introduce himself. The day of the tour he was prompt, friendly and patient. We were able to see far more with Daniel then we would have on our own. He also took us to an excellent lunch spot that ended up being one of our favorite meals in Tokyo. Thank you for a great tour experience!
In addition to being very knowledge, Oriol was a joy to be with; very relaxed, conversational, accommodating, patient, etc. He seemed to enjoy both himself and us. Safe and good driver. We wish we could've spent more time with him.
For little bit more money, this was ideal tour for myself, my wife, our son and his wife, our grand-kids, 7 and 4. We were driven around by Alex, a Hungarian living in Japan, with good command of English in comfortable mini-van type of vehicle. Alex was an excellent tour guide and a good driver. At each stop we wanted to visit, Alex gave us enough time to explorer. I recommend this "private" tour to any group over 4 people.
We had a wonderful tour with Oriele. It was well planned and well executed. Oriele was very known and had lots of interesting facts that enriched the tour. Lunch as delicious at a traditional noodle shop. I can’t think of a better
way to see Tokyo in one day.
As our flight home to Australia was not until 10.00pm after disembarking our cruise ship in the morning, a full day car and driver was a far better option than a 4-hour ship excursion which was likely to visit only a couple of sites and leave us at the airport early afternoon for a long wait for our flight. Our driver Oriol far exceeded our expectations. After telling him what we had already seen on ship tours and what our general interests were, he tailored a really special day for us - lovely parks, gardens and less-known temples and interesting areas of Tokyo, a great spot for lunch, cheaper shopping than what we had experienced off the ship, and great conversations about life in Japan along the way, finally dropping us at the airport in the evening. Definitely recommended.
Our guide was terrific! He showed us so much of Tokyo, places we would never have found on our own. He was also very patient in letting us have the time needed at each stop. Would definitely recommend for first timers in this incredible city.
