Tak did a great job of showing us Tokyo's sights while still working with us to accomplish some things we needed to do. We saw a beautiful park that was overlooked by the new city. It was great. Then we went to the Olympics store which was a desire to get some things for our family. Since it was our last day in Tokyo, we needed to get some cut glass and Tak took us directly to the most impressive place we have been in in years. Good guide (and very patient).

Our guide, Skip, was terrific. Our private group had 10 people, and he was very informative and handled all of our questions. Also he was simply a genuinely nice person who was concerned about us enjoying ourselves and wanting us to learn about Japanese history and customs. The tour operator was easy to work with and they offered as much flexibility on shaping the agenda as we wanted.

Tomo our guide for the day took us to the main Tokyo sites. Very informative and professional. We got opportunities to try and taste food at the fish market. We had a fantastic lunch in a small cafe which we would have never found on our own.

As a family of 5 from London, on our first full day in Tokyo we decided to arrange for an 8 hour guide. It was the best decision we could have made.
We were so fortunate to be allocated Kazu Kato as our guide. As we were staying in an Airbnb apartment in Shimokitazawa, we arranged to meet at the Hachiko statue outside Shibuya Station.
From the start Kazu-san really enhanced our experience of Japan.
He took us to a back street for breakfast, very local and so delicious!
We then headed for Meiji temple and were in luck that there was a festival that day.
Highlight of the day was probably Tsukiji fish market. We spent a couple of hours walking around and best of all, trying the market food.
Most of the rest of the day we spent in Ginza area. But doing things it would be difficult to discover on our own. Like walking through a pachinko gaming parlour, finding the best bonsai shop or getting my younger daughters photo perfectly replicated on a coffee. It was so cool to discover behind the glamorous shops a small alleyway with traditional shrine.
Kazu-san made sure to introduce us to tips of travelling on the Tokyo subway. Also recommendations for the rest of our stay, including the best yakitori place to eat that night.
Highly recommended.

Great tour on our first full day in Tokyo and a great way to see some different parts of the city. Our guide Yuriko was absolutely top notch and one of the top guides we had during our entire trip. Very accommodating with our elderly mother who joined us on the tour. She took us to the Meiji Shrine and explained things very well as well as taking us through Harajuku and Takeshimaya street as well as Ginza (grapes for $100!) and Asakusa so we got a great variety. She also took us to a locals restaurant for panko breaded and very tasty selection.

Yuko was a super guide and I highly recommend taking a guided tour with her if you want some help finding your way around Tokyo. We visited lots of places (the fish market, significant temples and shrines etc). I was happy to leave the plan of the day up to Yuko and the plan did not disappoint. We fitted in so much in our day. It also really helped me get familiar with the amazing but initially daunting rail system. Yuko also assisted me with further plans and gave me terrific advice about where else I should visit.

Our tour guide was Edy, she was so knowledgeable! She showed us how to get around using the Japan rail pass and she made sure we were able to see all the sights we could on our tour! We really enjoyed ourselves!

Yuriko was an incredible guide! She gave us terrific and helpful travel tips for getting around Tokyo plus excellent historical and cultural information to get our vacation started. Having the private guide customized to our interest was incredible, she even dropped us off at the sumo tournament and gave us a briefing on what to expect.

Great tour with a great guide. Tomo took us to Tsukiji outer market for a very nice walk with food and sake tasting. Even though we were 9 people she managed to keep the group together and to keep everyone happy and satisfied with the tour. After the visit to the fish market we went to the Asakusa area and temple. Also very nice and appreciated. Thank you Tomo for a very nice tour.
