Thoroughly enjoyed our day with Yudi!! From booking to the end of our day everything was perfect. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. Great communication with all those involved. Recommend without hesitation.
we just had a perfect day tour, dana was super friendly and droove very safe. Car was clean and he did just the right amount of small talk. definetly we will book the next time with him
We had such a great time on this tour. Surya was great, the water temples were beautiful and the rice terrace was so pretty!. we just can't get over how beautiful Bali is! this tour was a great way to see some highlights, definitely recommend!
My driver was Surya who is a very nice person, good driver and can tell you a lot about the places you visit, and balinese culture in general. A really good day trip that I only can recommend. Thank you for the 5* service!
Highly recommend this tour which was well organised and very enjoyable. I booked this tour via Viator and as usual the service was highly efficient as was our guide was Eka Beloen. He was totally wonderful and knowledgeable too... very patient throughout and didn’t rush us at all. My favourite part was the rice terraces which we hiked for two hours. Incredibly peaceful and unique experience.
A very well paced tour led by our guide, Dewas, who was well used to driving and pacing the day without stress.
A varied day making an interesting tour around this beautiful island.
This was an amazing tour by our excellent guide SURYA who was very friendly and informative about Balinese life and culture. We covered a lot in one day - three beautiful temples, coffee farm with coffee/ tea tasting and a lovely walk and delicious lunch in the terraced rice fields. Throughout Surya was charming and did not rush us at each stop. I highly recommend this tour as a great way of seeing Bali
The tour guide/driver Astika did a wonderful job of taking us to some interesting places, and he gave us some cultural and historical information as we passed local villages in between our stops too. He was very accommodating and gave us some freedom to explore the places ourselves, while still being a wonderful and very informative tour guide.
The buffet lunch was very delicious and the staff at all the places we went to were very friendly too.
This was a perfect tour that suited the needs of me and my travellers, but there was quite a bit of travelling by car between locations, so if you're looking for a tour where you can see lots and lots of things in a short time, this isn't it. However, if you want a relaxing day tour where you can see the UNSECO rice fields, and temples in the mountains and on the beach, then I would highly recommend this one!
One of the main reasons I chose this one was because it was a lot more accessible than the other tours available. However, the hills of the rice terraces were still a bit difficult to navigate for travellers with prams, wheelchairs, or difficulty walking.
Overall, this was a really great tour and I would highly recommend!
We booked two amazing tours with Hire Bali Driver and my only regret is that we did not book three.
Our morning was off to a wonderful start when we saw Punca was our guide for a second day.
Spending time with our accommodating guide, Punca, gave us a great appreciation of the culture, the temples, and the natural beauty of the island. Punca knew all the best views and took the time to get good photos of both of us together. He also explained haggling at the markets to my husband, arranged sarongs for us when needed, and made sure we had a picturesque view at lunch. I loved shopping in Bali, but my husband can get overwhelmed so you may want to ask your guide where hawkers are an issue and for strategies to deal with the vendors.
There is some traffic involved with visiting Tanah Lot and in the southwest part of the island. The tour allows plenty of time to see the sights. Punca is a patient driver, and he monitored the traffic to determine the optimal route. If traffic is an issue for you, perhaps ask in advance if the order of sites could be changed to minimize traffic. We chose to leave Tanah Lot before sunset because we wanted to minimize the amount of time we spent in traffic but still had time to enjoy the destination.
We enthusiastically recommend Hire Bali Driver and this tour for vacation memories that will last a lifetime!
As part of this tour I did get to see the sights promised and learned some backround information, but what really made this day stand out was my driver; Benik.
He was a delight to talk to. I got to learn a bit more about the personal side of daily life in Bali, customs from his particular village, and get in a little practice of bahasa Indonesia.
He is also keen to learn and practice English.
My day wouldn't have been half a memorable without Benik to show me around. I highly recommend him.
