Great day out, although Tanah Lot is so very busy so we weary of that! But that's no reflection on the professionalism of the guides on the day
Great tour - but be aware that the ladies selling things at the end are kinda pushy
This tour was amazing!
Good trip although the guide we had was still learning english and it was hard to understand what he was saying
Very long tour because of terrible traffic jams in Bali. The tour and travel took nearly 6 hours. The monkey forest was not really very worthwhile. The Messi Temple was worthwhile, but the Tanah Lot was spectacular. Unfortunately for us we got there in a wind and rain storm.
Was a good tour.
Enjoyed seeing the monkeys and temple. Tour guide too invasive.
When he arrived at the temple to meet us, he didn't even know our itinerary. He asked one of us to pull up our complete itinerary for him to see.
We went through the entire temple in about 20 minutes. During the entire time, he would periodically be chatting on his cellphone.
He dropped us off at the monkey temple and stayed on the car as we went through the site.
He discouraged us from going to Tanah Lot because the sunset would've not been very visible due to the cloudy weather. We went anyway but he barely gave us a tour. He just walked us through the site and answered a couple questions we had. Never did he actively try to expound knowledge upon us.
He seemed lazy and unwilling to work.
Stroll through traditional Balinese countryside then relax with refreshments. On to the Royal Temple of Mengwi - Pura Taman Ayun - complete with moat, shrines and carved gates. Visit the sacred Monkey Forest, a cluster of towering trees, home to hundreds of monkeys and experience the famous 16th century "Sunset Temple" of Tanah Lot to marvel at this sacred spot 200 meters off shore.
