Why go
This short Cetara walk suits a relaxed day focused on one fishing village. Start at the Church of San Pietro Apostolo, whose coloured dome helps orient the centre. Torre Vicereale di Cetara adds the village’s coastal defence story above the harbour; its exterior is the intended stop. From there, follow the path and steps to Lannio Beach, a smaller cove apart from the main waterfront. The three places are close, so the day leaves room for a long shore pause rather than more travel. The stepped return asks for a little energy after the beach. In rough weather, the church and tower still give a clear sense of Cetara’s setting.
