Why go
This Ravello walk is for visitors who want architecture and gardens at a measured pace. Villa Rufolo and Ravello Cathedral sit close to the main square, making a natural starting pair. Walk up to the public Belvedere Principessa di Piemonte for a view, then continue through town to Villa Cimbrone Gardens and its terraces. The final leg is longer and follows Ravello’s sloping lanes, so leave time for the walk as well as the gardens. Both villas merit their own visit rather than a quick photograph. The lookout gives you a shorter outdoor pause before the longer garden finish, especially useful if you want to pace the day gently.
