Spiaggia Grande
The main beach puts Positano’s stacked houses, church dome and sea in one frame. It is the liveliest shore stop and easiest to combine with the centre.
Why go
Choose Spiaggia Grande when the townscape is as much the draw as the water. Looking back from the sand explains Positano’s vertical layout more clearly than the lanes do. The central position saves a long descent, though this is a busy gathering place rather than a secluded cove.
