Boekenberg Castle and Park
An eighteenth century rococo country house set in Deurne’s landscaped public park, whose paths also pass ponds, bridges, a grotto and romantic garden structures.
Why go
The city’s Boekenberg walking route passes the castle, Jagerstoren, rock bridge, grotto and Chinese tower. The protected estate offers a substantial heritage and green space excursion beyond the centre. Treat the castle as an exterior landmark: heritage records describe residential care use, so ordinary interior entry is not part of the recommendation.
