Fort 8 Hoboken
A preserved nineteenth century defensive fort in southern Antwerp, surrounded by a moat circuit and green space suitable for an outdoor heritage walk.
Why go
The city describes Fort 8 as the only one of the eight original forts where visitors can walk all the way around the moat. Its protected brick structures, earthworks and water make a distinct military heritage walk. An interior visitors centre and events are being developed, so the reliable visit is the outdoor circuit.
