Center Parc Credit Union Stadium
A Georgia State football stadium with a layered sports history: built for the 1996 Olympics and later used by the Atlanta Braves as Turner Field. Today its interior is an event visit.
The stadium site compresses three chapters of Atlanta sports into one place: the Centennial Olympics, Braves baseball and Georgia State football. Go for an event if you want to experience the venue itself; otherwise, its main interest is understanding that succession of uses.
What to look for
The site began as part of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Stadium.
It later served as the Braves' Turner Field.
Georgia State Panthers football is its present sports role.
Useful to know
Plan interior access around a ticketed event.
Do not use old Turner Field information to plan a Braves game here.
