Rhodes Hall
A Romanesque Revival mansion on Peachtree Street, built for Atlanta furniture merchant Amos Giles Rhodes. Its stained glass and carved staircase reward a guided interior visit when one is available.
Rhodes Hall preserves a glimpse of the grand houses that once stood along Peachtree Street. The painted glass above its mahogany staircase is especially striking, though its Confederate imagery also makes the house a place to consider how Atlanta's past was presented.
