Zoo Atlanta

Why go

Keeper talks and animal care demonstrations can turn a circuit of habitats into a closer look at how the zoo cares for its animals. The location beside Grant Park also lets you add a separate park walk when you want a break from exhibits.

What to look for

• Animal habitats form the core of the zoo visit.
• Keeper talks explain behavior and care beyond the enclosure signs.
• Elephant care demonstrations offer another view of daily zoo work.

Useful to know

• Check the day's talk and demonstration program before choosing your route.
• Allow for outdoor exposure as you move between habitats.
• Pair the zoo with a Grant Park walk if your schedule allows.
