Why go
This is a history walk for visitors comfortable with a climb into Ibiza’s upper town. Puig des Molins Necropolis introduces the ancient burial ground below the walls. From there, follow the streets uphill through Dalt Vila rather than treating the fortress as a quick viewpoint. Madina Yabisa Interpretation Centre adds the city’s Islamic-period story, and the Cathedral of Ibiza gives the walk a clear finish at the top. The distances are short, but the slope and four substantial stops make a measured pace more pleasant. Check access to interiors before you go; the streets and walls still give the route its shape.
