St. Leonard's Church
See St Leonard's Church from outside for its late-Gothic form on the rise between Barfüsserplatz and Spalenberg; the crypt is not a walk-in attraction.
The hilltop position and stonework make this church a rewarding exterior stop while moving between two old-town areas. Its archaeological crypt is historically interesting but access is limited to arranged group tours, so it should not drive an unplanned visit. Come for the building's setting and visible architecture, then continue through the surrounding streets.
