Camino Quebrada La Vieja
Quebrada La Vieja brings a forest walk close to Chapinero. Reserve a place and choose the branch carefully: the higher routes require much more time and effort than a lower-path outing.
Following the stream changes the scale of Bogotá from streets to woodland, with birds, vegetation and climbing paths taking over the experience. The route is worthwhile for that transition itself. Plan around the booked access slot, follow staff instructions, and keep the lower branch as a realistic option instead of assuming that every visitor should reach the upper hills.
