Palacio de Justicia Alfonso Reyes Echandía
The Palace of Justice anchors the north side of Plaza de Bolívar. Observe its façade from public space; the working judicial building should not be treated as an open visitor interior.
The building adds a modern and politically charged layer to the square’s civic architecture. Its identity is distinct from the plaza, with the history of the judiciary and the events of 1985 shaping how the site is understood. A focused exterior stop works alongside the Capitolio and cathedral, without assuming access beyond security barriers.
